February 28th of last year was my first catch of the year .There was no snow than. Not happening this year.

My wife now blames you for my Plano Edge spending .... but because I did throw you under the bus.

I've bought enough this winter.. lol never enough but god forbid the other half see's what I just ordered and am ready to order .. I'm ready but just got another 9" of snow today . Middle of next week we may jump to 50 for 3 days.. I'll try to get out to throw anything. We r pretty much iced in but there r a couple spots.

Well actually frogging in pad fields as well not just punching,, do your thoughts remain the same? Havent' tried the flippin braid or No real difference than smackdown besides being black line?

I use 50lb Power Pro for my heavy vegetation presentions, anyone that uses the Seaguar Flippin Braid does it cut vegetation half decent being a 8 count?Like Heavy Lily Pad fields? Just thinking about giving it a try.

I have Sierra 705c but haven't gotten to use it yet or my 705sf, Curado 7'6 h/f. Getting old just looking at them and more snow tomorrow.

I understand there power ratings or what they are suppose to be thats why its confusing because if its a type-o , than its a type-o on every website.

Ok I have read it all... but still spinning my head. I have in Dobyns line a 734c Champion, 705c Sierra, 705CB Fury ,702sf Fury. All these Rod's are new to me as I just jumped on the Dobyns wagon 6 months ago or so. As mentioned in another post I am replacing a couple rods and looking at new St. Croix, Shimano Zodius and now the 2 mentioned in title. So 735c Champion lure rating 1/4 - 1 1/2 and rated Medium Heavy/XF applications Frogs, Pitchin' & Flippin', Small Swimbaits 735c Sierra lure rating lure rating 1/4 - 1 1/2 and rated Mag Heavy/XF applications Frogs, Pitchin' & Flippin', Small Swimbaits Same length, same lure rating's, same applications, both are in the flip and pitch section on website, but different Power rating,, this is driving me nuts. I just don't get it. I know the Sierra action is a little slower in general I can grasp that, but to have one a Medium Heavy and the other a Mag Heavy with same lure rating and application/category is just driving me insane looking at rod's. What am I missing cause already losing my mind.

My 3 go to lakes.. 5 minutes, 30 and 50. Of course my favorite and largest is the farthest and smallest least productive closest.

3rd week of February last year was landing some fish around here.. not this year ..packed in a snow and ice storm tomorrow... joy.

Last night and today ... finally got to it.. wrap up put all away walking out of work shop.....not done... did all hanging from ceiling forgot rods on wall... back to it . Talk about getting ahead of yourself or just the getting older thing... the last one is my guess lol.
