Yup, fire out a date. I enjoyed the morning meeting. Took me a bit for my head to clear lol but it was a good time.

I tried one of those. It didn’t help me. I raised my seat quite a bit and that helped .

I open any new reel up.. once you have done it a few times it doesn’t take much time at all.

I don't use backing for my braid, just use a small piece of Electrical tape. Couple yards of line left over goes in the trash can. When I want new line from fade.. the line on reel gets reversed, there's my new unfaded line.

I still haven't placed a order as I want to try some different braid, Currently using 15lb PP to leader for finesse spinning, 30lb 832 and 50lb PP on casting gear. It's like a coin toss lol, give Smackdown a try or Daiwa Samurai. I'm sure I'll end up trying both.

Well that all depends where you fish, on the banks of some of the spots I fish.. if there is snow you have as good of a chance of going for a swim as catching a fish...done it not fun. This time of year those are spots I target.

But not of the woods yet, have had snow in April .

Based on your picture.. for me that would have required quite a bit of Tylenol,Heating pads and soak in the Jacuzzi time.

I should have worded it differently... since it’s rated they way it is.. is the tip a little slower since it’s rated that way.. not total broom stick... a lot of backbone but with a little slower tip.

Anyone that has this rod.... Is it rated MF action as I’m seeing advertised? Or is it Fast ?
