Came across a ad locally for a ‘87 15’ Fisher Jon Boat . Appears just from pictures to be in good condition. Comes with a 8 horse Yamaha he had some work done too.. he has title for trailer and boat. He’s asking 2k.. obviously it’s older and see a lot of different takes on these boats. I’m not jumping on anything just looking for some opinions.. I’m quite content with my Yak for now.

My Rapala high contrast has been like that since almost day one.. never know if it’s gonna fire up. Stinks cause I like it.

More out of the HLC... not by far but smoother and gets to that distance with more ease. just sent u a message as well

Just have to pop back in and say my HLC is my best distance reel.. this is with MY rigs/reels... my best Shimano is a Curado Dc .. so sure a higher quality Shimano may dice my HLC ... But I don’t have a higher quality Shimano.. my HLC is my favorite in my reels so far... my Elite comes in second .. obviously speaking on behalf on my budget.. I don’t spend more than $250 on a reel......well haven’t yet.

I have both but really can’t compare them in a sense as my Shimano’s are Dc reels. With that said the 2 text reels that I get are Daiwa’s.

And will see it a million more.. Full Metal Jacket has been on cable a ton lately .. I think I’ve watched it 20 times in last 2 weeks.

Not much more at this point , I’ve bought enough over the last month. Well there’s never enough but I’d be headed towards Castration via the wifey....she has been silent so I think she’s planning my demise . Although I know I’m getting a TW gift card from my mother so that’s probably a 735 Sierra or Mojo Bass.

That’s awesome. That patch in total I showed a part of is probably 1/4 of your satellite image I’m guessing. What’s even better never have to drop anchor in it if it’s windy ..

Yep.. spot on. Most of the time if I backlash I know it’s about to happen on release with a whoopsie of the thumb if that makes sense .. unless there is a dig in I obviously didn’t know snuck in there .

Learning to remove backlash.. Backlash a zillion times and u get pretty darn good at removing them. I am now and have been quite proficient at removing them.

Fishing ..no... but the Arizona Desert one night about 25 years ago. No clue what it was in the sky but is wasn’t normal to me or my buddy....but it was amazing . and we were both sober lol.

I skipped TW myself .. took along shot a went to dicks sporting goods.. loaded up on plastics , chatterbaits, cranks, terminal tackle for 25% off. Another rod is still in the works.

You make that a tuff decision lol. So your saying the 735 Sierra can be a touch more versatile?
