  1. Georgia had almost as many sacks in that game as they had the entire season before that game. Hooker's gonna need all the NIL money he can get. Between his inability to GET RID OF THE DAGGUM BALL and what I'm sure is advancing CTE after the beating he took Saturday, he's probably not gonna have much of a career after he graduates.
  2. You're good, bro. It was a brief flash. I went and wrestled with the pups, and we were over it by the time I got around to giving them noogies. Iand you're right. Those people are scum, and I hope that they're victimized much more harshly every day, for the rest of their worthless lives.
  3. Concur. This is part of what you live with getting rescue animals. I took Roger with me fishing one day shortly after we got him, and he was absolutely terrified of the sound of the rod when I made a cast. I think we stayed for about 5 minutes before I packed him and all my stuff up. He sat in the passenger seat of my car shivering with his ears laid back the whole ride home. Lily cowers when we pick up almost anything. I'm mad as hell all over again thinking about it. I'd very much like to have a private chat with their former owners.
  4. That's a fact. I think it's something like 6 months after the flare goes out before one can get the vaccine.
  5. I'm 43 now; I got it on my face and the side of my head about a year age. It isn't an experience I recommend.
  6. I know Booyah's got one that goes down to 3/16, but I'm unaware of lighter options than that.
  7. It comes as no surprise to me that UT and UGA are topping the first CFP ranking for this season, given the seasons they've had to this point. Saturday's gonna be a banger.
  8. I never made, like, a decision to quit fishing. I just put the rod down one day, and it was about 20 years later when I next picked it up. Stuff happens.
  9. I've only tried it a couple times, and both of those were from the bank, and that didn't seem to work super well. But my experiences there kind of made me wonder if it wasn't a better use of my time to just float a finesse worm down to them. So that's usually what I end up doing. I think I've got it in my head that it's a way more strictly vertical presentation than it really has to be.
  10. I don't think I have any idea how to work a dropshot into how I fish, tbh.
  11. Everybody has an angle. Follow the money.
  12. I don't care how she orders her steak. I care, very much, how she talks to the people that prepare and serve that steak.
  13. Morrígan is quite pleased that, after my vacation last week, I am sitting where she expects me to be during the day – and that the scary stranger is no longer in the house.
  14. What if the moon is in Gatorade?
  15. I was just thinking that, but if the line spooks them, presenting the lure as we traditionally would may risk turning them off altogether. Reeling it in like a crankbait might do the trick, though.
  16. I had a dachshund when I was a kid. Great dog. One evening we had gone out to eat and he somehow got himself closed in the bathroom. Ate the bottom quarter of the door. I miss that dog. I'm not convinced that the little isn't part gremlin.
  17. Earlier this week mine attempted to eat their own DNA test kits.
  18. Will catch just about anything in the TVA system. It's like a magic trick.
  19. I've lately been using 6lb Sunline Sniper for my leaders, and smallmouth are in play just about everywhere I fish. It's fine. I've never felt like I didn't have enough gun, so to speak. I'd just as soon use 4lb YZH Hybrid for the money. Note this is for a spinning application. For casting, bump me up to 10 or 12lb, and I'd still take the hybrid.
  20. They're so cool.
  21. For what it's worth, what I can see of it looks osprey-ish. Can't see its head very well, though. They're good-sized birds, but smaller than eagles. Here's a better look at one. Note the stripes going back from its eyes:
  22. When I shot it, I was in the process of getting skunked! ? I finally got hooked up, but it was a near thing. lol I feel like it lends a certain gravitas, maybe, if you squint real hard and turn your head just right.
