  1. I'm not exactly sure, but I think AIC blows all the other grunge bands out of the water I like them because they seemed to have more of a metal edge then the rest of em.
  2. You should hire a little person to play the big drum while you drive the boat "Bum... Bum... Bum... Bum" Like the oompa loompas
  3. That's frickin amazing! That's going to be a good story.
  4. A Mepps size 3 inline spinner or a black 3 inch power grub. I have caught largemouth, smallmouth, cut-throat trout, rainbow trout, pikeminnow, and more in all kinds of different bodies of water.
  5. Who is losing all their soft plastics to these fish??!!
  6. That is a SLAUNCH
  7. I once caught a dink and when I was unhooking it, I noticed the tip of a senko sticking out of its mouth. I squeezed its belly and it slowly came out and it was still usable!
  8. They all start some where
  9. Sometimes me and my brothers just go fishing with ultralight combos and merc a bunch of bluegill with bobber and worms. Its fun sometimes to take a break from more "advanced" forms of fishing and just not stress about catching big fish and just catch a lot of scrappy panfish, its how I started fishing and I still do it from time to time.
  10. A few years ago I took out a canoe and was fishing my local lake, it was kind of windy and eventually the wind blew me real shallow. As I was pushing off, I looked down and saw what looked like a human hand sticking up out of the weeds. To this day I am not sure if it was my little kid mind playing tricks on me confusing some weeds for a hand, it is unlikely it was actually a body, though I have not checked since then to see if it is or isn't......
  11. Has any one bought them? And if so how did they perform out on the water? I have my eye on the Lews Xfinity Speed Spool baitcaster combo to upgrade the combo I have now. I have watched a few videos on it, read the reviews and they pretty much are all positive. Right now there's a sale on it at Walmart and instead of being 97.99 its 70 bucks. Has anyone here tried this combo?
  12. My first ladyfish, these things are like little tarpon!!
  13. Im 15 myself, and purchased the Abu Garcia MLF spinning combo and I love its about 75 to 80 dollars and the baitcaster version is about 100 dollars. Pretty sick combos by a reliable company.
  14. Slipknots self titled album rocks
  15. A gold colored Mepps size 3 spinner, a black 3 inch powergrub, and tiny underspins paired with a panfish plastic work well for me, I would say a 1/8 rainbow glitter colored roostertail also but you said you all ready bought roostertails. Those lures catch alot of other species including largemouths and smallies as well.
  16. My first rainbow trout out of my local lake of 2021 caught on a Mepps spinner. She measured out at 16 inches and is now on the grill getting ready for dinner lol.
  17. As of now, spinning. But I bought my first baitcasting combo a few months ago and already caught some late fall / winter fish with it, and I like it. I think I am going to upgrade to a better combo in the spring though, since my lake is extremely weedy and I want a rod with a little more back bone.
  18. I caught 2 of my biggest largemouth on a Mepps size 3 inline spinner and I caught my pb on a weightless powerworm. I caught my pb smallmouth on a wacky rigged Yum dinger, which was pretty small since it was my first time fishing a lake with a decent amount of smallmouth and I had limited time to fish it.
  19. Thanks for all the info, since I have made this post on this website and listened to peoples replies I have become a much better fisherman and have become way more confident in techniques to try and catch bass with. For the longest time I only threw ultralight lures because I thought my lake only had really small fish, since then I have gained more knowledge from people on here and now realize that I was doing it all wrong! I went from throwing small bluegill lures to Powerworms, Yum Dingers, and Chigger craws, Ect. I do still throw black 3 inch Power grubs though because those are just deadly on pretty much all fish species including bass! Tight lines and welcome to the forum.
  20. The curly tail version of those Big Bite Baits plastics in the grey color on a roadrunner jig are a ultralight bass killer!
  21. I received a new Pelican Bass Creek fishing kayak, and a paddle and anchor. Im pumped to use it in both fresh and saltwater!
  22. Pr Probably, I have never tried it on any other platform
