When my grandpa and grandma were kids, my grandma's dad would tell them to catch very small bluegill so he could fry em up and eat whole.

It is, when I come home i show my parents my "bass thumb" but my mom always thinks its a fungus or something?

I dont mind sweating alot if im catching fish, I cant stand when my hands get numb or im cold fishing, it sucks.

The wacky rig has changed bass fishing for me, I love it because it works, I live in Washington as well and have caught both largemouth and smallmouth on it. I use either a 4 inch yum dinger or a 4 1/2 stick o on a 1/0 gama finesse hook in green pumkin. I cast it near pads, rocks, docks, clumps of scum, weeds. It has worked at every lake/pond/river i have fished that has bass. let it sink wait a few seconds, then either twitch it or lift your rod up and repeat, watch your line because when a bass has it your line will move in the water. The trout are in the pond because the owners husband stocked it a couple years ago, I dont know why he stocked them. The water is vary cool. I dont know what they eat I have fished their for a while and never seen any other type of fish in the pond. And no one feeds them.

I would be moving bluegill from one private pond to the private trout pond I have access to fish. I dont know if they actually spawn either but I have seen eggs in them and have hooked smaller trout

does anyone know the effects of stocking different sized bluegill in a pond that was only stocked with trout a few years ago. The trout fishing there can be really good at times but it would be cool to have two species in a pond walking distance from where I live. I dont know if the trout reproduce but I have found eggs in the one trout I took from there and have seen one trout smaller then all the rest (the average trout in there is 12 to 14 inches) would bluegill mess up the trout reproducing if they do? or eat up what the trout would eat? the pond is very deep and clear and does not have a lot of weeds. you can move the baits out of the original bag into another bag and leave the bag open, the stuff will probably dry.

If I catch one on the "last cast" I leave, If I dont I keep casting untill I get one.

When I was younger me and a bunch of other kids would go to this little road/trail, the only thing at the beggining of the trail was some big blocks and a chain across them, being kids we did not care and would explore the woods near our town and their was junk,old tapes/movies,a rusted old truck, tires, sleeping bags, baskets, and a doll hanging by a noose in a tree. I live in Washington and where I live people think the local lake i fish only has trout or has no fish at all I dont think they even know that their are other fish species in Washington other then trout and salmon. LOL

I ordered several hooks and plastics off Tackle Warehouse and received them in 2 to 3 days, several weeks ago.

Where I live me and my brothers accidentally find them alot going on hikes and going to parks they are always filled with little toys.

That sucks my fishing spot has lots of trash but barely anyone fishes it.

Its a real hard choice! And most of the lures seem to work the same. Which one ? Lol Its a hard choice!! but alot of the lures listed for me seem to work about the same.
