If you could only have one..

Featured Replies

If you could only have one lure to fish with, what would you use? I'd choose a black/blue dead ringer 4in.worm. I've caught a wide variety of fish on them(bass, crappie, rainbow trout..etc)

Isn't this a winter thread in summer? I can't pick...gun to my head id say either spinner bait or more than likely finesse jig

  • Plastic worm for numbers and jigs for size. Between those I spend 80% of my TOW. I will never ever have only 1. Tom

My choice would be Mepps Aglia 3 in silver or gold.

Mann's Hank Parker Classic spinnerbait, 1/2 oz.  (You know how painful it is for me to say that, don't you?)    ???    jj

I can't pick one.  Part of the allure of fishing to me is having lots of choices...

It’s the allure of a lure.

5” Senko green pumpkin and watermelon.

Fat Ika

Finesse TRD. Caught 4 or 5 species on them so far!

So...the ONE Best Lure Is:

> Dead Ringer Worm

> Mepps Anglia

> Spinnerbait

> Senko

> Fat Ika

> TRD Worm

> Trick Worm

Now there's a clear message  :surprised:

Nothing mentioned above, I’d go with a Soft Swimbait

Roger

Toss up between senko or baby brush hog. Watermelon red / junebug red.

If were talking bass a plastic worm . If were talking fish a jig and grub .

Zoom Ultra Vibe Speed Worm or U Tail worm.

This year either a jig or a 4” weightless Senko.

As much as I love my buzzbaits I have to  go with a spinnerbait.

I would choose a t rig, straight tail 6" plastic worm. I could trim it down to 4" or 5" if I need to. I'd rig with a 1/8 oz slip sinker.

Zoom Fat Albert because I can rig them on a jig and for T rigs.
