Wasn’t that the best time ever? I was in grade school and that January including that huge snow we only went like 2-3 days the entire month. Biggest snow of my childhood!

I don’t know if I do or not. There is so many spinnerbaits I would like to have. I have been lucky with spinnerbaits since I was a fry.

We have a great January ahead. Above normal temps! We might get our rods bent ?

After -7 here this weekend the next weekend is gonna be 65. How do you guys think the bite will go? Water temps after a few nights at under zero will likely be in the 30’s I’d imagine Thursday or Friday. Who is wanting some bass on the line for New Years? It’s Christmas Eve but I’m thinking of winding a fishing reel.

If you see bright chartreuse on the belly of a lure. River2Sea frog in LittleAllen color for example. Me and a buddy were fishing frogs together they were attacking his like they hated it. I threw it and bass took it on first cast. White belly vs chartreuse that day was difference maker.

I threw 5 brands recently in mid 40’s water. The 110 silent slow floats. I added a #3 split ring to the back hook and it super slow sinks with a head down tail up looking great. A little slower was the Stunna sinking at approx 1” a second. Looks good. An older Rick Clunn STX floated, not a slow float either, that sucker popped up fast. The X Rap work’s amazing. Sits horizontal and maintains its depth. 2 different Rogues were floating too, even though they’re suspending models. What’s all this mean? Nothing really. Just observations I thought I’d mention that I saw in my water with my lures and rig.

Another set of Dale Hollow Tackles hair jigs. I think I’ll order one more set in the punisher version and be set on hair til I can get over to the shop that sells the Kingfisher Jigs which they told me are now sold as Appalachian Jigs. The monkey told me I’m needing some more jerkbaits. We shall see. The set from last week…

My first look at the Stunna. For $5.60 each it kills my soul that I didn’t get in when they had all the colors available. A good looking lure. Much thicker lip. Profile more like an Ito Shiner. Heavier built hooks. And a fish catching reputation. If I go to my shop these are like $16.something out the door and after the PF sale, I can’t pay that price ?

I thought Storm did away with their Arashi line? That’s a surprise for me.

These SK Chick Magnets are looking good to me. Look at Jeckyll custom painted lures, pink crappie. Beautiful

They stopped? MB hooks are VMC, aren’t they? Doesn’t add up they’d stop the Kat sausage hooks.
