  1. Up until four or so years ago, I thought I hated tube fishing. Turns out I just hated tube jig heads. I rig them all kinds of ways now and they are one of my favorite baits.
  2. Yeah, just depends on their mood. You kind of have to try both each time.
  3. Who's Ben? Apparently I like his flavor of Koolaid. ?
  4. Was it worth it? LoL
  5. I'm all left handed bait casters. Right hand retrieve seems silly to me. #LeftSideIsTheRightSide
  6. Yeah, some pumps can do double or triple duty. Other setups have all individual. I think my Triton had eight separate pumps, lol.
  7. The four types of pumps you tend to see on boats are bilge, livewell fill, livewell pump out, and livewell recirculate.
  8. Mine spins around like an idiot and chokes itself with the power cable fairly often.
  9. Thankfully, that's not a benchmark I use for durability. ?
  10. It'll work fine mechanically. Just depends on if your fish think it looks delicious.
  11. Nature is metal.
  12. I forgot about the excise task, so that would have been $140. I got everything on sale and my guides were collectively about $10 per rod. It also took me about four months to collect all the parts but was worth it from a project budget perspective! The one I got from you I put on the SiC micros when Mudhole was basically giving them away to get rid of them.
  13. Me too. They must not have an MPG stabilizer on 2019 F150's. Have to check for that on my next one, lol.
  14. Rage Bug, jig, and a tube are always getting wet.
  15. As long as your stream of justice is strong and true, you're alright, lol.
  16. I also got X-rays, bided my time and shopped the sales. I built my X-rays for about $130ish a piece. I own several rods in this price point and a tier or two up and there's no comparison to what I built myself. You can go ham on a custom rod's premium components or go frugal and still end up with an excellent piece of equipment.
  17. I know! I was like "where's the fish!?"
  18. I just got the Triton running and all her trailer's tires on yesterday. Soooonnnn.....
  19. For me, I can't stand not having a boat. So all the blood, sweat, and treasure I expend to keep my boat going is worth it to me.
  20. I fish mostly single hook presentations in the kayak and the few hardbaits I use in the kayak have all been changed to inline singles.
  21. The Kraken is never not on table as a possibility.
  22. Catfish or turtle?
