Automotive laquer clear coat questions
Not sure how many lures it would do, I use it for jig heads so each one barely used any.

Automotive laquer clear coat questions
Maybe try a UV resin like Alumilite UV Clear.

Culprit Incredi Frog vs. Strike King Rage Toad
Also bonus tip, the 3 pack cheap Rage Toads at Walmart seem to be the misprints. They don't look or perform like the regular full price packs.

Major Boat Fail By A Pro (Aaron Britt)- video back up
Good on ya! Yep, this guy was driving foolishly.

Timing
We were up in Indian River on Burt Lake a few years ago and a big storm showed up suddenly from the big lake and we we racing back to the ramp. We beached in the swimming area to drop people off seconds before the leading edge of the storm hit us. It was almost too rough to get the boat back on the trailer at the ramp less than a quarter mile away.

Tag
The tag needs to be trimmed, from a functional point of view, so that it doesn't interfere with the lure presentation. Also, from an aesthetic point of view, most people prefer a neat and finished look to their rigs.

Looks like the video got pulled down too. I didn't get to see it unfortunately.

Gear ratio vs IPT
It is relative to the spool dimensions and some other factors but a general, simplistic rule is that lower gear equals slower retrieve with more power and higher gear means faster retrieve with less power.

Do you fish any Dardevle spoons?
It has been a long time since I tossed one of those. But red and white striped was the preferred.

When to not use a swim jig?
That's why I tie swim jigs with flashy metallic skirts. ?
-
Spro swivels
No, I use a connection knot. Don't want a piece of metal, regardless of how small, flying through my guides.

When to not use a swim jig?
I'm a swim jig fanboy. I don't use them too much when fishing deep though.

Berkley Maxscent Really Work?
Didn't care for the Generals but the King Tails work well for me.

Too Heavy Line for a small jig?
I do some heavy line and light wire jig fishing. When I set my drag, I make it relative to the hook strength, not the line. To do this, take a digital fish scale and attach to your jig hook. Pull against the scale and jig. Note the pounds of force necessary to flex the hook, set your drag to be less than that force.
-
Too Heavy Line for a small jig?
The line doesn't bend the hook, the rod and reel do. If your drag is set correctly, then you won't have a problem.

How important to identify weeds?
I wish I had a lot more knowledge of underwater vegetation. The bass seem to prefer some types over others and I would love to have a better idea of why that might be happening.

On this day in 1990. . . .
Must have been too busy with my 2nd grade homework to notice this achievement in 1990. Incomplete Homework = No Nintendo. 'Twas a simpler time. ?

Does braid leader sink?
Never tried to cast just the leader... Not sure but I would assume it would sink the braid eventually.
