  1. Not too much longer now. Michigan is switching to spring a little more each day!
  2. That's a legit hack that I will probably steal but I would not trust Walmart budget bin hooks. ?
  3. If anyone figures out how to do it, I too am super interested in dark mode! Any possibility @Glenn? ,?
  4. So I thought that the Edge stuff was mostly just hype, but I got a tray to try out and they are REALLY nice. Don't know if I can afford replacing all my trays, but I certainly understand the draw now. ?
  5. Probably why it was mentioned it was unenforceable. ? If MN wildlife officers are anything like Michigan DNR, they've already been observing what you've been doing before they come for you. You got your ticket from a distance and then they "deliver" it to you.
  6. I'm still waiting for open water, so total bass caught is currently zero. ?

Gotcha. Eventually you will be comfortable enough with the wire that the oring method is a bigger hassle.?
  8. What kind of swim baits? There's quite the variety.

Looks better than my first jig! Did you end up doing bands, wire, or thread?
  10. And if you decide that you can't live with it, cutting a guide off and redoing it isn't a huge project.
  11. That's only a slight misalignment. I don't think you'll notice an impact. Might bug you mentally though. ?
  12. Agreed. Swim jigs don't need vegetation to be successful but they do need bass. ?
  13. They work fine with or without vegetation.
  14. I believe. And I always make a quick ultra low percentage cast to shake it off on each trip. ?
  15. I have high hopes for this week of rain that is allegedly coming. Very high hopes.
  16. I've noticed it with and without leader. Not sure what would be going on, don't have this issue with the other braids I use. Hard to say but possible. Noticed this with every pound test I've used 20, 30, 40, and 50.
  17. Be careful, might make some of your other baits obsolete, lol.
  18. Must have been a long morning for that rep. TW is usually very polite. Been a long week for me too, so I can relate, lol.
  19. Eventually, needing the screens will seem primitive. ?
  20. Same here. And while store stocks seem to be good, variety is not.
  21. I've experienced the stickiness too but only on a bait caster when pitching. The line sticks to itself and robs momentum from the pitch.
  22. Smackdown on a bait caster left much to be desired but it's excellent on a spinning reel in my opinion.
  23. I'm glad I didn't hear that! My poor wallet...
  24. Ok, cool. I'll have to get some of those for the couple places that I fish which are muddier. Most of my water is clear. Yeah, that cavity makes for a great bait in heavy cover. Its also my top bait for this application. Had to replace the stocks for the coming season, couldn't take a chance that they would be backordered. I did notice not all the colors were available but I got what I needed.
  25. Yeah, that was my jig rod last year. Worked out wonderfully. It's going to be my pitching rod this year.
