I have two packs of Mizmo tubes just laying around that I want to try out on some pond LM. I dont have the actual tube jig heads so what's some other ways to rig them? 

With an EWG hook and Texas rig fish it. Worm weight. Peg it, don’t peg it. 

What jigheads do you have?  Other styles of jigheads work as well as "tube" heads...

You can t-rig them with a small sinker, you can rig them with a regular jighead either in or out of the tube, you can nose hook them, you can drop shot with them, you can "the secret I didn't want to give away" cut one point off a treble that fits inside the tube just so, and run it in front of a spook on a short dropper. 

Tube is one of my main staples and I’ve never used a tube jig head. Round ball jig heads work

Ive got crappie jigs, ball head jigs, ned rig heads, all sorts of stuff. So I can just T rig it like any Ol soft plastic?

T-rig is probably more common outside the northeast.  Tubes are an excellent punch bait.  The problem with most ball heads and crappie jigs is the hook size.  I good tube head has a bigger, stout hook.  If you end up buying some, look at Bite Me tackle Flat Eyes.

Up until four or so years ago, I thought I hated tube fishing. Turns out I just hated tube jig heads. I rig them all kinds of ways now and they are one of my favorite baits.

I use a gamakatsu skip gap hook when I’m fishing tubes in weeds. It’s specifically designed for tubes. Peg a weight above.

I either T-rig them, or rig them on a split shot rig.

This is my normal way, but I think I caught a Randy Blaukat tip video where he puts a small slit/slice for better hook penetration.  Also theres a version where you can put a dipsy sinker in the tube and have the hook go through the eyelet.  Will probably give these a shot at some point.

The oversized Big Dude heads with some of the colors are supposed to mimic a goby. I think Erie anglers discovered it by accident, using homemade 1 oz. pill head jigs to get the tubes deep quickly and maintain contact with the bait in wind. 

You can rig a tube on anything

I’ve even nose hooked them on a drop shot hook.

I agree with this doesn’t have to be a tube head just a jighead will work

Thanks Glenn I'll check this out. 

Put a bell sinker inside it, hook an EWG hook through the eye of the bell sinker and T rig the bait. It'll glide all over the place and skip a mile. 

My PB until recently was caught on a Texas rigged tube bait with a 1/4 oz bullet weight.  Since I moved to GA, I haven't had much luck with tubes  no matter how I rigged them.  I buy some every year though just in case.

You can also add a foam earplug into the body to make it float and now it's a frog. ?
