Never heard of super heavy, but have heard of XH & XXH. Disregard these terms and look at the line & lure weight ratings for the rods you looking at.

My most expensive is a G Loomis NRX 902S ($600) with a shimano Stella 3000 ($699). Right next to that set up in the boat is an 7’6” ugly stik with a cheap Lew’s casting reel for smaller crankbaits. it really depends on how much disposable income I have at the moment, how many beers I’ve had & how much nagging I’m ready to endure.

You said it’s aggressive, was there any other fish in the tank? Frankly you should cull the fish. You risk introducing disease into the pond

I put a piece of Velcro on back of the seat in the front & and more velcro on an old phone case when I go fishing alone. I use the timer function to take pics. Try it in driveway to figure where to stand, zoom etc

If a LTB rod is out of balance try Putting a few rubber bands on the blank between the cork to even things out

Ive ordered 3 rods thru Amazon. The first was fine, the second they forgot half of my 2 piece rod (they made it right) and the third arrived broken in a square box. The box was not damaged. Since the box wasn’t damaged they didn’t replace, I was out a few hundred bucks. Next time I crease the box before I send them pictures.
