Spinning combo under $75
Not a big fan of bps rods, reels are fine but nothing impressive for the price, I'd personally take a kiddie rod over a bps rod that's how dissapointed I am in them...

Wow, I like running light line on swimbaits for more action but that's another level

Soft Plastic Scents/Flavors - Science or Gimmick
I'm a believer it actually attracts fish, first being I've heard rumors that people have caught bass on cut bait from locals+ my uncle up in the northeast while catfishing, dead sticking bait without movements for hours and a bass hits, that's interesting. Yes but... it's like scratch to smell stickers or scented markers in elementary school... but for adult fisherman ? ?

Am I the only one?
Anything fast enough to not make my hand tired, I don't really care about slower gear ratios, anything at or above 6:6:1 works for me

June Bug - The Color
Lizards and spring... is like peanut butter and jelly. This ^^^^, don't get me started in roboworms as a colorblind person... i just want a green or baitfish worm...? I could care less about Aaron and his magic or how he drinks tequila at sunrise!

Spinning outfit vs baitcast outfit for smallies
alot of my fisheries simply do better on spinning, I use baitcasters in heavier cover, and I'll use them for bigger lures in stained water such as a bladed jig or spinnerbait, crank, etc etc, but I really result to spinning or bfs. I don't consider my bfs to really be in that baitcast category because I use spinning rod lures, I got my bfs reels specifically so I could have more accuracy with lighter lures and flip and pitch more effectivley. Really I bet I could only fish with a spinning reel/bfs reel even in the heavier cover easily, in fact I have before for fun, but the hookup rate and the durability of spinning/bfs in that situation goes downhill a lot even if you get more bites.

Multi species fishing
1. Most plastics with jighead or splitshot will work well as long as it's 1/16th or lighter, only 1/8th if it's really windy/deep. 2. Great hardbaits include the standard rapala minnows, yo zuri pins minnows, trout crank, rebel crickhoppers or micro cranks, and small jdm minnows and topwaters.. 3. Flies, flies just work for the smaller fish species because they just don't always eat other baitfish, especially in summertime areas when insects are in full swing 4. Live bait, crickets, hoppers, worms, leeches, grubs, beetles,, they just work.

What’s Your Go-To Search Bait?
I may be the one off guy, but I really like topwaters for search baits, they are very similar to swimbaits as they draw attention plus they come over submerged grass because of obvious reasons, they work spring-fall and dare I say you get those crazy winter days. Plus they are fun

Why the need to change hooks on a hard bait?
Yes I change them especially if I have found a lure in tact but rusted hooks or if the lure I'm fishing has taken a beating and the hooks are no longer sharp ill change, but let's be honest I usually loose my bait by the time that happens. Also I change them for big swimbaits because if it gets a bite it's a fish I probably think is worth investing an extra 10 bucks on as fish insurance. Finally specialty hooks like flashy hooks with the little blades

Progressive polarized sunglasses??
This ^^^^ trivex is really nice, newer to the market but really nice, and not all polycarbonate lens are equal, the ones that came from my doctors are not as clear as the costco kind, same perscription, also I find the polarization on the Costco ones I'd much better and let's less glare appear on the water

Progressive polarized sunglasses??
It does not does it

Progressive polarized sunglasses??
I'm a college student and have had poor vision all my life, here is my reccomendation. 1. Don't buy from doctors office unless you really like the frame, they are insanely pricey. 2. Don't go to lenscrafters if you want a name brand frame, just go to the company itself and it's cheaper 3. The way I go (I think it's the best) is go to Costco and look for a comfortable frame in the eyeglass section you think will work for sunglasses, ask for polarization of corse, and make sure to ask for the different color options. They have brown/amber and grey; I really like the Amber's for fishing. Finally, the cheapest option is the fit over style glasses that are polarized like exhibit A, these are fine and get the job done, plus you don't need to switch between two frames if you go out to eat after a trip of fishing. https://www.amazon.com/Sunglasses-Polarized-Prescription-Eyeglasses-Protection/dp/B07DJMRZBC/ref=asc_df_B07FK3TTYW?tag=bngsmtphsnus-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=80539344295178&hvnetw=s&hvqmt=e&hvbmt=be&hvdev=m&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=&hvtargid=pla-4584138871473391&psc=1&th=1 P.S I totally forgot and I know it's hard but we have to get the idea out of our heads when it comes to name brand perscription sunglasses if we are on a budget like Oakley under armor Costa etc etc, the estimate for me was roughly 600$

Gear ratio for a bank angler - squarebill/lipless/etc combo
You can always go slower comfortably, but never faster.

Is an IM8 rod for me?
All rods are different, my im7 lews rod is crisper and lighter and more sensitive than my im8 quantum rod, it also is not as fast as my im7, so really im7 vs im8 is kind of a marketing thing. I'd go to a store and hold one in your hand and see what it's like This ^^^^^ most rods will show defect in first 1-2 trips unless it's a non blank related issue like poorly installed line guides from my bps rod, it showed up around two months after use. Also ultralight rods are always prone to breaking no matter how well you treat them because they are so thin.

Cracked/chipped ferrule, how to fix?
Cdm equipment has come so so far, I was actually going to pick one up with that new tsu dark wolf ultra for trout but I held the bait monkey back... for now. I've made myself a promise if I break another UL rod I'm getting a tsurinoya, kuying, or a ace hawk rod. Put an order in a few days ago for UL trout spoons 1.1 gram, they should be fun

Cracked/chipped ferrule, how to fix?
It's an ultralight bps rod, ran like 30 dollars, fourth rod of their ultralight series that has failed me, I am really gentle with my rods too

Cracked/chipped ferrule, how to fix?
Okay nice, I always try to put images up but my phones images are too high quality and even on the lowest resolution are a butt yo upload, let me try this (edit) Okay it worked but the other piece of the rod slides into that hole, but that part of the hole cracked, if you think resin+wrap will still work awesome, the rod still can be put together tightly and comfortably it will just come apart after a few casts

Cracked/chipped ferrule, how to fix?
Hi there, I have a spinning rod 2 pc that b, the ferrule that you insert the other piece into chipped and cracked but rod did not snap, I was thinking epoxy to turn it into a 1 PC and do thread wraps with more epoxy to secure, I've never built a rod so any ideas are appreciated

Worth Saving Plastics...
Back when I was in H.S a few years ago I went to the art teacher and asked if I could make clay molds and bake em in the oven for pouring worms, they let me and they have been working really well, the are not as perfect as a zoom trick worm or robo worm but they work just as good.

How fast is too fast?
I don't like anyone going 60-90 mph near me for safety reasons, no matter how expert of a driver they are, thankfully most lakes here don't allow that.
