  1. Just before I place an order on I wanted to make sure they are a real seller, never used them before
  2. Thankyou both, much appreciated!!!
  3. I'm looking for a glass slow-moderate action ultralight in the 4-6 foot range WITH (this is important to me) SIC/ceramic guides as I hate that stainless steel guides get annoying grooves in them with time especially with mono. I would also add that I would prefer a small single grip/pistol grip that is no longer than a foot. Was hoping to spend no more than 60 dollars, I looked everywhere and could not find one except from china's cdm market. Thanks for the help
  4. This ^^^^ Have deep ties to the park and much of my family works at the park specifically, its very nice although hot in the summer. Deep history in the area as well.
  5. So many people eat crap and get used to the feeling, eating fruits vegetables and chickenbreast/fish can be bland, messy, or longer to prepare, but it makes you feel so much better. Not a Nutritionals or a health nut, I just eat what I grow... and sadly I cannot grow doritos or lays, and believe me I tried planting them in my garden ?
  6. Any good dropshot/mosquito hook works well, size 2-2/0 works, lead casting weights work well, you don't need anything fancy though and can use a bullet weight at the bottom or a egg sinker or something. Tying the actual rig itself is most important
  7. I think i may have been sold, I really been wanting some more jigs to flip with.
  8. This as well ^^^ still digs in for me, but it's not as bad. Plus using braid you have plenty of space even for 60lb.
  9. Thanks brother!
  10. no, just naturally low they say and they dont know why, but as long as it stays stable and doesnt go any lower and can keep elevating during exercise they seem to be alright with it. they monitor it every 6 months to see if anything changes.
  11. at the bank to mortgage their house ? Yo zuri pins minnow I have been enjoying, berkley stunna but I lost my only one, have heard good things about the whipper snapper.
  12. ah I see, yeah the high salt content does not have any effect on my heart rate, its just to prevent fainting as often.
  13. Ha! Don't have to worry about that because I have a heart rate of 35-40ish, lower when sleeping, so the doctors encourage me to eat things like pretzels and peanut butter, but I promise you it's better to have high blood pressure and take a medicine and low heart rate and get a pacemaker installed (fingers crossed we won't have to do that)
  14. Yay another video! I try to use a good mono or coplymer 90% of the time, it knots well, is versatile, and has stretch for treble baits. I only use braid for one reason. Heavy gauge hooks.
  15. Exactly, a word without a standard is not a word at all its just a disgruntled noise associated with something.
  16. Imho soft tip can be confusing and I interpret it how you do, parabolic action, medium to slow action, fiberglass rods, that sort of thing. I'm sure guys will disagree with me, so that is why I don't say "soft tip" and instead just go buy fast medium and slow action.
  17. I live in socal and fish some of the most pressured fisheries in the country, one knockers work very well, scilent lures also work well but in those windy topwater conditions I feel they key in on the knockers a little better
  18. I have been really turned off with basspro and have been shopping at local tackle shops and TW over them for a few reasons, I wont rant about them though, but in a nutshell they peddle their products over name brand rod reel and lure companies, and they never have sales because they take their sales base and consumers for granite, and if I want off brand rods, reels, and lures I can just buy online for higher quality cheaper products in the factories where BPS probably makes their equipment
  19. Monofilament or florocarbon, 12-15lb depending on how heavy the gauge of the wire hook is.
  20. Fishing is pretty much hunting swimming animals, so you in theory do like hunting.
  21. I swear by mono and coplymers, I only fish braid on frogs. I'm sure you know all the negatives to braid so I won't get into that. If you really want to go braid... 1.bigger diameters help me on baitcasting and reduce the risk of it digging into the spool. This cause many backlashes. 2. Unless you have a tatula t wing system, even the smallest fg or uni knot will occasionally catch the level wind guide or a guide on the rod, I find I am more comfortable with 2-3ft ish leader outside of all guides, this will prevent this issue. P.S (mono seems to be more forgiving on the knots in comparison to floro, floro can sometimes slip on braid if you don't tie the knot 100% right.
  22. It's worth a try, I've found fish really like dropoffs and the contour of the bottom itself seems to be structure itself foe fish, with that said it it's just a steep drop-off and nothing else I personally wouldn't stay around too terribly long.
  23. Yeah it was incredible watching him nab the fish, he dove straight into a laydown and unlike the videos of eagles glazing the surface, this osprey went head first at mock five through the wood and was successful. Most impressive thing I have ever seen
