I like the paint job. Matches our crappie around here almost perfect.

I bass fish a lot at night during the summer with cranks that dive less than 12 ft. We usually get a few by mistake that way during the night. Some have been in the mid 20 inch range.

I caught one last year about that size on the first cast of the year. Mine weighed 34 lbs. and was 47 inches if that helps any. Great fish!!

You're getting quite an impressive collection. Hanging out with Cal will do that to you. Slant bridge is killer looking as well as the 103M but my heart lies with the Steez and the Stallion. Awesome combo!! I love a black rod and reel. You keep posting these pics and you're going to make me go on another buying spree.

I was in the boat with A.J. when he stuck this fish. We were both scratching our heads about the hole until he said it was impaled on a stick. No wonder with the hookset this guy uses. If it would have been a small fish, it would have been flying back at the boat.

You can tell that's a big fish from the size of it's head compared to your hand. I feel your pain. I went fishing tonight and forgot the camera. I just knew I would stick a big fish without the camera. Thankfully it didn't happen.

If it were me I would use it for drop shotting and maybe wacky rigging. That med-light action is a finesse rod. Spinnerbaits and cranks are gonna cause quite a bow in that rod unless they're very small. Read the lure weight specs on the rod and that will help you out picking the right sizes to use. Nice rod, congrats.
