  1. For fishing very deep waters. Nice toys cost money. I have seen some of those electric reels pushing the 3K mark. Can't imagine how heavy those things are. Crazy!!
  2. That first picture looks like that thing on You Tube called Rubber Johnny. Gonna fix that dink problem when you get up here...Hopefully
  3. Great picture!!
  4. Been doing quite a bit of smallie fishing lately. Man, they pull so hard. I keep a smile on my face all day long in disbelief how a 14-18 inch fish can strip drag like that. Pound for pound, they can't be beat!
  5. Good ol' Raul, always lokking out for us. Thanks buddy, I missed this discussion.
  6. You ain't right College memories are great!! ;D
  7. Voted!! Pretty smile for sure.
  8. At least you didn't wake up with a pair of wet underwear in one hand and a hot dog weiner in the other.
  9. I have seen this site come up in a few discussions on other boards. From what I have seen, I think they are legit. They work along the same lines as Bass Japan, having huge warehouses stocked with excess tackle. Decent prices but most of the reels can be had for cheaper prices from reputable JDM tackle dealers. Look around and don't get in a hurry, that's when you will screw up. For the record, I got a NIB Alphas for this spring for $169.00. Just shop a little.
  10. Put me down for being an idiot as well. I will probably end up buying one. I see a lot of upgrade possibilities in that reel. Nice!!
  11. I kinda like it...different. :-[

  13. Awesome Video! Thanks for putting it together.
  14. Great idea! You got it bad my friend. If there was such a thing as going over to the deep end, you're on the bottom. Nice collection.

KVD Line and Lure is the real deal. Probably the best new product I have tried this year. I don't have to look for the Yozuri Hybrid Ultrasoft anymore. I can use the regular Hybrid with this stuff and cannot tell the difference. JJ's Magic has been a big hit on my boat this year too. Too many color combos to name but it was a big confidence booster on tough bite days. Spotted bass love this stuff. Not to crazy about the Megastrike jigs because of hangup issues. I love the larger style hook and wish more jig makers would follow suit with this hook style. I think the weedguard could be a lot stiffer which would result in much less hangups. I fish some of the gnarliest stuff you could imagine. Really liked the new E2 Shaky Heads. They have a winner there. Does as advertised and catches fish. I noticed when using the smaller 1/8 oz. Cavitron Buzzbaits they had a tendency to roll over on retrieve due to the buzzer not spinning. I thought it may be a single bait issue so I tried the other one. Same issue...roll over on retrieve. I adjusted the wire a bit and it seemed to help a little. I'll stick with the larger 3/8 oz. version. No problems there.
  18. Biggest this year so far...fingers crossed. 7 lbs. 8 oz. Lake Guntersville, Alabama
  19. I've said it before, he ain't right.
  20. Congratulations
  21. I have already found myself running my big boat much less and doing more float trips with my little pontoons. What used to cost me $40.00 in 2003 when I got the boat now costs me $80.00 to fill up. $3.99.9 Here today at the pump. It will be $5.00 a gallon by July 4th. >
  22. Me and the dog after a day of work.
