Because they are only replacing the spool support bearings (5x11x4mm & 3x8x4mm), IMPO ABEC7 rated bearings will not bring you any more than the ABEC5 rated bearings for upgrade...Good Luck & Tight Lines!!! I agree with this, I have both and cannot tell the difference. I think it's more in my head. I mostly use ZPI brand (ABEC 5) without shields. They require lots of maintenance though. I like to tinker so I don't mind.
