I think I'm going to have to side with Muddy on this one. Fenwick is pretty hard to beat for the sub $120.00 range. Now if we are talking rods on sale I would go with the Avid. Pretty sensitive rod with a killer warranty program.

Reminds me of a Japanese style boat called Souther. They are cool boats. Looks good man.

Welcome to the Forum. I also fish New River around the Bluestone Lake Dam and below. No problem catching boatloads of fish, that's for sure. I fish it in pontoon boats also.

When I was a child I lived in an old plantation house that was built in 1844. It was three stories and had 21 large rooms. I'm talking rooms with 18 foot ceilings. Many famous people stayed there like Ulysses S. Grant. Lots of strange noises and happinings in that house. The Historical Society bought it and they take care of it now.

No but I am thinking about getting one myself to replace a TD Advantage that I have for throwing spinnerbaits.. Nice looking reel. I say go for it. Kind of has the refinement of the Alphas and the bulk of the Advantage. That does it, I'm getting one! ;D

You guys that fish in a boat while the snow is flying, do yo ever worry about the motor freezing up. :-/ The reason I ask is this year I am still fishing when I have normally winterized the boat. Some of the mornings around here have been pretty chilly lately. (around 25-28 deg.) I really want to try to get as much fishing in as I can but I worry about the motor freezing on me. :-/ I let the water out of the lower unit at the ramp and trim it all the way down when I get it in the garage. Do I really have a reason to worry about this if I'm getting the water out? :-? I hate cold weather!!! >

How many people are staying at the resort versus the cabins and/or chalets? I would like to stay with the majority so we can get together after each day and have a good BS session. I guess we could all get together no matter where we stay. Just curious??? Is there any way to make a list of who's staying where?? Yeah, I know, too many questions....I'm just excited!!!
