I bought a new zillion suv re reel, i feel they are really incredible performance for the money. a looking to pair it with a higher end, doesn’t have to be the end app be all, casting rod i was thinking a st croix avid or lol is GLX, but only have experience with the legend and NRX. would would be your reccomendation for a do it all setup, im lea inc towards a Med Heavy rod. many ideas as to what would be a good pairing for this reel?

Hmm now o need find an suv that can fit a 10ft kayak inside. w/o going down the road of the giant suvs like suburbans etc i know traverse is roomy, maybe VW atlas i thought about a pickup but i would miss storming stuff inside like rods. i always have stuff in my truck

O would be willing to get a 10ft kayak. Anyone know if a 10 footer would fit inside an suv? anyone done it? im in the market for a new car and this is a factor

do you keep it inflated?

I have a NuCanoe F 12 and it’s too big for one person I want something really small light really quick and portable. I am a very impatient fisherman and I don’t spend too long and I generally fish small bodies of water so it’s pretty clear pretty quick whether the fish are biting or not. I want something just to get me off the shore

So you tie the jig you want on the line/Rod and then wait on the trialer? Inwould love to rig the whole thing up beforehand and store it bit so far it hasn’t worked well

Do you rig up your Jig/Trailer combos before fishing or do it on the spot. I have rigged a few and out then in my storage trays but the oil disintegrates the skirt or other jigs/Trailers or they melt or get hard. How do you all handle this. I really haven’t used jigs much flr this reason

Just tested out the 3.8, had one of my best days every bunch of fish 2.5-3lbs which is big for the ponds o fish. my PB is 3.8lb. used them weightless and T-Rig

I really dont understand the new NRX + I guess the only thing that it may have over the conquest is better sensitivity? Is that fair? Anyone have both yet?

Trying to assess this all. Very confusing. The conquest MBR is more expensive and from what I gather has eveyrhting the new NRX+ has. Can anyome confirm? So what does the NRX + bring to the table?

So all things being equal becuase there is a new NRX MBR too. Do you pick an NRX plus MBR or Conquest MBR?

Which would you pick and why? Looks like the new NRX lineup just stole Conquest technoliogy so is there any reason to pick the NRX over the conquest? Other question is does the NRX JWR bring anything else into the picture?

Good info, thank you everyone. I tried the WP the other day, badded a nice 2.5lber. Topwater is soo much fun. I still dont understand why a buzz bait is more weedless, the hook doesnt point up out of the water like a frog, does it? It must still get hung up alot is there is stuff in the water

i find them hard to use in ponds. they dive to deep pick up too much weeds and junk fo be efficient . i do like wake baits i hVe a megabass blade and madbull rod and z crank i’m getting rod, for these reasons, don’t see the need for a moving bait rod, especially considering that i fish mostly ponds. unless im missing, something i am all ears does that make sense? please PM me if interested in the rods.

Need some suggestions for buzz baits. Looking to land some big bass. i’ve heard and read that buzz baits can produce big bass but what size, brand, type do you reccomend?

How big do they come? i’ve only ever seen the small ones
