  2. Does NRX+ have any casting rods that would pair well with a lighter BFS setup and can pair well with the BFS conquest. I see they make a ned rig rod, 801. Anyone have any experience with this rod? are there any others.
  3. I’m really considering the Hinie Lynx, anyone else have any feedback on this? it’s super light, it’s short enough, it’s very wide and seems like it’s easy to stand up. My only concern is the deck is flat, will rods fall out, would a crate fall out? anyone have any experience?
  4. True but then why do t people buy trout rods?
  5. I am soo enamored with the Conquest BFS reel, that I want to use it for trout fishing as well. I cant put that amazing reel on a crappy trout rod, so what would be a good high end casting trout rod to pait it with? Most trout rods are spinning so I need some help finding one for trout. I generally prefer shorter rods as I fish for trout in streams mostly.
  6. So I picked up figuering I could easily sell it if I didnt like it. I spooled it up and tied a 1/4oz wedight and took some casts on a Dobyns Ultra Sierra finesse. OMG does this thing cast far? I am very impressed at the distance! Sits a little high, but definaltye is cool and feels smooth. Love the cliky drag sound like this and spinning reels.
  7. Wow the Hobie Lynx looks amazing 47lbs and 36in wide. I too prefer to stand up. This might be what I am looking for. My only concern is the flat open deck. Will stuff fall into the water.

Im looking for a verstaile spinning rod, I have mostly casting rods, lookng for a versatile spinning rod for a variety of uses but especially drop shot.
