  1. @throttleplate Pet mice: Squirrel: += Hybrid:
  2. This is what happens when people release pet mice.
  3. Polamar, it is a small knot and super strong, so it is good for big lines. I had a polamar tied with 15 pound red label last night, and it took me 5 minutes to break off a snag. I tie a polamar for the rod I use for flipping and big Swimbaits, it has 20 pound red label.
  4. Looking at this thread in Algebra 2 right now...
  5. We've got some dumb animals in Kansas. Especially the squirrels...
  6. I wonder if Berkley has ever had there warehouse raided...??
  7. Did a little prefishing for some local Wednesday Nighters. We destroyed them, but only caught one 15+ inch fish. Caught a couple smallies out of the lake, which is pretty rare. Fished the Wednesday nighter tonight, and my partner caught the only keeper. The fish spit a lot of lures tonight. I missed a big fish flipping that would've give us the win, but we got second... out of 4-6 boats ? Caught another smallie too, except this one was not much bigger than the bait.
  8. Sweet, her hooksets are a little scary ?. She could cover a lot more water if she learned how to flip... I really enjoy watching people in other countries fish, cool to see their fishing styles.
  9. By FAR some of the best jigs out there! Buying all of my jigs from him from now on.

Take a Zman TRD, in a color that matches your grasshoppers and rig it weightless on with a light wire EWG hook. Give it a try and you won't be disappointed.
  11. Those are awesome
  12. Fly rods, even more expensive....
  13. If you can't get bit dragging or hopping it on the bottom, SWIM IT, this is how you fish a ned over grass. Don't use ANYTHING but Zman or other elaztech products, it doesn't work half as well.
  14. These are cool!
  15. I think that is the boat or the dock?
  16. Fish get pretty roughed up just swimming around. I highly doubt the plastic tail damaged the fishes cheek in any visible way.
  17. Fished the Wyco Wednesday night last night, we caught a ton of shorts and one 14 incher. No fish to weigh in for us. The people who won had 7 pounds anchored by a 5 pounder. Second place had 2 pounds. I caught one on a crank bait, flipped it in the boat and it flopped and buried a treble in my hand, then it flopped again and out came the treble. Got lucky there.
  18. It kinda depended on the lake. There was only two good topwater bites this summer that I got on.
  19. Psst... Yoga Pants
  20. I swear my dad gets a screw or nail in his tire every two weeks. Shoot, we changed a popped tire yesterday.
  21. I slide it up my line, cut my lure off, tie the knot and then slide the bobber stop back down. Be sure to wet the line when you move it up and down, or it can burn your line. I've noticed it keeps grass and algae of my knot pretty well.
