  1. I keep my mouth shut a lot, don't want to hurt anyones feelings. The metal detector cop stopped my bag in the xray machine and took a really long look, then she stared at me. She didn't find anything but school stuff and an old Bassmaster Magazine.
  2. I've got one a buddy gave to me, bet you can't guess why. ? I doubt it will ever see the water, based on where the hook is.
  3. I wish I grew up with you guys, sounds like a lot more fun. I would love a gun club, that sounds like the most fun ever! I'm sure the Liberal Arts High School I go to would love a gun club. 95% of the students and teachers probably wouldn't even show up to school grounds if there was one... But less knuckleheads to deal with! ? I don't think the cops in the school even carry guns, just pepper spray. And we have to go through metal detector every morning.
  4. Sweet! Dream reels right there.
  5. For our high school tourneys, we have to be a registered BASS member I pay $10 every year. You get two really good (IMO) magazines every month, and some stickers. If you get the lifetime membership, you get a reel and line, lures, etc. Some of the articles in the magazines, 25%-50%, make it onto the website. Just depends if you want.
  6. If you look really close he has a chunk style trailer on the back. Similar to this

  8. I might have picked up a swim jig, if I couldn't get them eat the buzzbait. You might have also needed to slow your retrieve. With missing fish on the frog, like @A-Jay said, they might have been small fish.
  9. 1. 6'9" MH, 15 pound Fluoro, 7.1:1. All purpose: Jig, t rig, chatterbait, spinnerbait, buzzbait, etc. 2. 7'2"H, 20 Pound Fluoro, 7.1:1. Flipping/Big Swimbait. 3. 7'6" MH, 65 Pound Braid, 7.1:1. Frog and Punching. 4. 6"6' M, 10 pound Mono/ Fluoro, 6.5:1. Crankbaits and jerkbaits. 5. 6'6" MH, 10 Pound Braid to 10 pound Fluoro. Finesse. 6. M 6'0", 10 pound braid to 10 pound Fluoro. Finesse.
  10. What pound line do you fish it on? I would think you would need some big braid to set the hook on this thing, because of the massive hook, and how close it is to the body. I've got one and would only see someone hooking up if you put the bottom treble on.
  11. I've got a couple pellet guns and a BB gun and an airsoft gun. Shooting is one my favorite things to do. My grandpa just finished building me an AR15. He order two, and since they had really close serial number, I got 16 and he got 18, he built both of them. I had a lot of fun with the little green men, and these guys...
  12. I had one of these! It was the coolest thing ever!
  13. I got to pick one up... Felt lighter then a pen.
  14. Punching is mostly a vertical game, so I don't see you getting hung unless you set the hook into something?
  15. Heck is a food lion?
  16. I pick these guys too, and Glenn! I'm pretty sure John Cox doesn't have anything but a thermometer, and trolling motor and a pair of sunglass on his boat.
  17. I clean all my reels with a q tip, penn reel grease and some abu garcia premium reel oil. I know I could get better stuff, but this works for now. When using a qtip make sure you don't leave any fuzzies in the reel. When taking them apart, lay them out in the EXACT order they come off. I can take apart and clean some of my reels in 10 minutes.
  18. Howdy folks, I'm getting the Scheels Ebisu Z casting rod in either 7"1' or 7"3' medium heavy, to replace my falling apart Abu Garcia Vengeance. I've used the medium action Ebisu Z for crankbaits, and have liked it. But I was curious if anyone has any experience with this rod. It's gonna be for jigs, t rig, chatterbaits, spinnerbaits, buzzbaits, etc. If anyone could tell me this rod performs that'd be greatly appreciated! I can't seem to find a single review on it. Curious how it will handle some hard hooksets. https://www.scheels.com/p/scheels-outfitters-ebisu-z-casting-rod/3340-SOEZC-711MF.html# Thanks! -Hayden
  19. My buddy has a chronarch, and it was also really loud. I tried to clean it, but couldn't get a screw out. This reel was fished for a long time and was the first time it had every been cleaned. I got it half way opened, and grease poured out of it. It was significantly quieter after removing just a little bit of grease. I would clean it and then let us know how it sounds! Does shimano put too much grease in their reels?
  20. Never fished Sam Rayburn but this is what I'm thinking. 1. Jig or texas rig. Maybe 10 inch worm? 2. Buzzbait, chatterbait, spinnerbait. 3. Ned rig, shakey head, or dropshot if you can't get em to bite.
  21. Great Job!!!

Haha, I bet. Both look like awesome dogs and a ton of fun!
