  1. How do you know someone isn't 18?
  2. One of my favorites. Been listening to Colter Wall, Tyler Childers, Hank Jr., George Strait, and Sturgill Simpson a lot lately.
  3. They look like this? Stick with a the typical colors and you'll do great.
  4. I won't kill em now, I haven't even caught all that many. The ones I did catch, I just threw back.
  5. Got a couple of these from my buddy. https://www.tacklewarehouse.com/Blakemore_Live_ShotN_Fry_2pk/descpage-BLSH.html
  6. I'd also guess Storm Arashi Vibe, based on the eye's.
  7. Not 100% sure, @Bluebasser86 probably knows. It doesn't look like it based on the website. I didn't kill the one I caught, or my buddies. I've seen videos of bass guys throwin them up on the bank around here.
  8. According to my buddy you're supposed to kill any you catch.
  9. You leave the tail ON. You can use a rage tail swimbait right out of the package. You can rig it on a jighead like this: This is for water without much grass/weeds, works great in open water. You can also rig it on a weighted swimbait hook like this: \ For use in and around grass/weeds and other places where you don't want to get hung up as much. You can aso rig it like a unweighted texas rig, as @MyKeyBe suggested. You can also use it as a trailer for a swimjig, chatterbait, or spinnerbait. These are the more common ways to rig a swimbait.
  10. Not with Zebra mussels around, and not in any of the cold months.
  11. Some people around here are crazy I've caught one in Kansas, and it was on a jerkbait or a crankbait. My buddy caught a 5 pound drum on a spinnerbait, thought he had a giant. You're supposed to kill them.
  12. My neighbor, boss and fishing and hunting buddy carries a ton in cash and checks in his wallet. He was walking through Lowe's one day, looking for some parts. He walked out of the store, and got into to his truck. When he was leaving he felt for his wallet, it had fallen through the hole in his shorts. Gone. He walked back into the store and began searching for his wallet. Gone. He went up to the front desk and someone had returned it. The $10,000 in his wallet was all still there. He immediately drove to the bank and deposited a lot of money, and threw away a pair of shorts.
  13. I use lefty reels, but I'm right hand dominate. I'm the only person I know who uses lefty reels, so when I want to pick up something one of my buddies are throwing, I have to use a righty reel. I've gotten pretty good at casting with my opposite. Certainly can't skip or anything using my opposites though.
  14. I like paying with cash. Let's you know exactly how much you have left. Tip: Bring cash to the tackle store, and leave the card at home. You will only have money for what you need. Btw, gotta watch out for the bait monkey, he'll sometimes sneak in the wallet. I always feel a little worried when payin with my debt card, not ever sure how much is on there.
  15. Something that gets big bites, and you can cover water with it.
  16. I fish high school tourneys, so we get to prefish. We get to skip school and our parents know about, and don't get mad.
  17. Magdraft. Might try a rage swimmer from 3.25-5.75, on a ball head swimbait head https://www.tacklewarehouse.com/Strike_King_Squadron_Swimbait_Heads/descpage-SKSBH.html https://www.tacklewarehouse.com/search-tackle.html?start=0&count=30&prevsearch=rage+tail+swimbait&searchtext=rage+swimbait https://www.tacklewarehouse.com/Strike_King_Weedless_Squadron_Heads/descpage-SKWSHD.html
  18. This is some of the coolest tournament fishing footage I've ever seen. Catching 110 pounds bed fishing. Aarron Martens, Skeet Reese, Hackney... Super cool and worth the watch.
  19. If you just want to get bit, with the chance at a big fish: Bluegill and crayfish make me think a jig or Texas rig. Maybe a squarebill too. Chatterbait isn't a bad idea. Fish all the difference in bottom you can find. Once you hit those hard and they stop producing fish, I'd go cover water, until I find something else to fish hard. Might try a shakey head or T rig trick worm. I'd try a jerkbait too. Big bite: As @BoatSquirrel said, big walking bait all day long. Or throw some other big bait. You've got to commit to the big bait though. Or throw a good sized jig.
  20. I caught a bunch on a lizard this year. Junebug for me. Sadly, they don't last. Gonna have to give the Zman lizards a try.
  21. Curly tail grub on a jighead for bass?
