Caught this guy twice, on the same shoal on a lake in Wisconsin. First on a white swim jig and another on a bass pro jig.

I saw them in person for the first time a couple days ago, the blade is really small. I'd also be afraid to throw it around anything but grass, since it's a plastic blade.

It's gonna be a fishermans paradise...

I picked up the new BassX MH rod, and it was really heavy, and it was more on the heavy action side of things as well. Can't say anything about the fury. Shimano makes great stuff, so that is what I'd go with.

How big is this knot one 50lbs braid? Palomar is the only knot I tie, period. To make sure I don't burn the line when I tighten the knot, I put the knot in my mouth and pull it tight. If I see the line is crossed, I cut it off and tie a new knot. If I see anything I don't like, it gets retied.
