Stayed on Beaver Creek, and floated it. We stayed in a cabin on there fantastic camp grounds. The smallies weren't in the eating mood, only caught two on a ned rig. Last time we were here I caught 20+ on a ned. I threw a red squarebill to get them to react, and caught most of my fish on it. Caught 6-10 fish. I was sight fishing for gar with a jerkbait and caught a walleye from the river, which really suprised me. The walleye was going crazy, so he didn't get his picture. Biggest on a silent storm arashi squarebill from@BoatSquirrel Swimming War Eagle Finesse jig with a Yum Craw Chunk trailer. He followed it to the rock, turned around, I dropped it down and he gobbled it up.

Went to an antique store on the way back from Branson. Buddies where looking for vintage gas pumps, and I was along for the ride. Swaver 168 for $8. Manns tail dragger for $3, already caught 3-4 fish. Got some albino flukes, some paddle tails and some ballhead jigs for $1. Also got an anchor for the yak.

lol I caught three fish on mine before the tail got bit off. I would love to see these made out of elaztech. We got anyone who can pour them?

I was throwing an s waver 168 on my MH rod, with 16 pound FC, earlier today. It threw the lure fine. As long as you don't whip the lure really hard, you should be good on the baitcaster. The spinning rod sounds like it will work, but the reel might be a little slow. Give a try ?‍♂️

If you can find holes and stuff in the grass, pop the rod up instead of down, and it will keep the jerkbait above the grass. Apparently guys in florida do this on heavy braid, in only a few feet of water. Wired to fish did a video on this.

Might try a jerkbait? Dark Sleeper? Buzzbait? Finesse jig?

If you want to get really frustrated, fly fish. Everything that can go wrong, does. You line gets wrapped on everything. Also, fly line gets stuck on everything. You wouldn't think it would, being super big around. But when everything comes together right, there is nothing better! Lake Taneycomo fly rod trout^

I don't think so, I've never had it happen. They stay on the hooks pretty well.

Also, a big soft plastic swimbait, like a savage gear line through or magdraft.

Super glue will hold the neds on the hook, and last a lot longer fish. Apparently, loctite is the best for elaztech. One menace can last maybe 5 fish. One zman plastic can last 20+. Elaztech doesn't tear unless you pull really hard.

For how much confidence I have in a Zman plastic, they are worth the price. How much more expesive are they then regular stuff?

War eagle finesse jig. Two in a pack for the price of one. Yum Craw Chunk trailer. Unique line tie. Booyah finance jigs work in a pinch. Also two for the price of one. Yum Craw Chunk trailer as well. I've tried the Ballin Out finesse Jig, and was not impressed at all. It has a terrible skirt, and is the same price as a War Eagle jigs and Booyah jigs, but you only get one.

Me too. I can't wait to try it out. Hopefully it isn't junk.

If you find a better price on another website, you can do this with tacklewarehouse too. I think it is pretty cool companies do this.
