Looking for advice on a Dark Sleeper Rod
I was using a 7'2 MH Expride A for 3/4 oz dark sleepers, I broke it and it's not eligible for warranty. I'm torn between a 7'3 MH Rebellion and the 7'2 MH Zodias. Budget is $250 max. Which one should I get?

Abu Garcia Winch casting rod
I prefer to fish graphite crankbait rods, I use the Dobyns 764cb for a dt 10 and love it. The rod is light , sensitive has enough give to keep trebles in but is not a noodle. For 1/2 oz lipless , I lean towards the 765 cb. I have handled an okuma guide select 7'5 medium crankbait rod and liked it as well, between the two ,I lean towards the dobyns.

Deep Crankbait Reel Recommendations?
Get the previous generation Bantam PG , you should be able to find one on the JDM sites or e bay.

Deep Crankbait Rod Recommendations?
The Dobyns 806CB is a great rod for heavy cranks that are 1.5-2ozs.

New Fenwick Elite Tech Bass
I loved my Elite Tech smallmouth rod,the handle did wind up falling apart on me ,but it was sensitive and alot of fun to fish. These Elite Bass rods are powerlux 200 blanks, I had an Abu Garcia Veracity which was powerlux 300 and I wasn't impressed with it , so I'm not optimistic about these. Best Finesse Spinning Rod
The ML Rebellion is an excellent rod, very light and ultra sensitive.

Best Finesse Spinning Rod
Zodias for the win, tatula a close second. I absolutely love my 7ft ML zodias for neko rigs and ned rigs, it's pretty good for the 4in easy shiner as well.

Does this product even exist?
Try e bay, I believe there are a few guys who will make custom shakey heads to specification.

What’s the benefit of high end cranking rods? (Nrx, conquest…)
I had a GLX 957 CBR which I slammed in a car door, I loved that rod. I had it paired with a Chronarch 201E5, it was a wonderful cranking set up for DD22s and anything around 1oz , light as a feather, ultra sensitive, at first I was setting the hook on everything I came in contact with, I eventually adapted and learned to read the rod and was able to detect the most subtle strikes. When I destroyed it loomis was no longer making the GLX crankbait series.

Daiwa Steez AGS Guides and Leader Knots
I just received the 7'1 ML Finesse game special spinning rod, I am super excited to fish this rod for neko rigs and drop shots. As I am reading through the little yellow instruction card attached to the handle, I see that it states to make sure the leader knot does not go through the guides , basically make sure the leader is less that 3 feet to ensure the knot doesn't hit the guides. I like to use a long leader, I'm usually running 10lb braid with a 6lb or 8lb copolymer leader and the knot runs through the guides, but now I am not sure what to do. Did Daiwa made their flagship spinning rod where you cannot run leader knots through the guides? It would be a huge disappointment if I am forced to use super short leaders when fishing this rod. Anyone have experience with running leader knots through AGS guides? if so, please respond, thanks in advance.

Share your hidden gems.
I was considering this reel for finesse spinning, but could not really find too much info about it. Based on what your saying, I may go ahead and pick it up.

Dobyns Fury 735 or Champion XP 736 for frogging/flipping/pitching?
When I fish heavy weeds , I throw an 1.5 oz magnum title shot with a beefy trailer, I have a an xtasy 755 and a champ 736, I prefer the champ 736 for that application. In my opinion, Dobyns is a little under rated in regards to power, so for flipping and pitching I would go with a 6 power, the only exception I found to that is the DX795 flip, that's a 5 power dobyns I really liked for heavy jigs , but I mostly fish from rowboats and it was too long.

How much money have you spent on your fishing addiction?
At one point I owned 33 14ft jonboats. After some serious soul searching, I am down to 12. I had similar problems with tackle as well, but I still love the sport.

New crank/Jerkbait rod
I use a Sierra 703c for squarebills, in my opinion the 704cb is to soft for squarebills.

New crank/Jerkbait rod
I use the Champ 704CB as my jerk bait rod and absolutely love it for that type of presentation.

Fenwick World Class Rods
I have a Rebellion 7ft ML 1 piece and I love it, I am so impressed with it that I am considering a significant upgrade to the Steez AGS finesse game special. It seems like the consensus is the new stuff from Fenwick is not what it use to be.
-
Fenwick World Class Rods
Thanks for the replies everyone, I'm going to pass on Fenwick, it seems that it's not the quality rod it used to be and I can get more for my money with another brand.

Fenwick World Class Rods
Thank you for the feedback. That is definitely not what I want it for, I was looking for sensitivity for shakey heads and neko rigs.

Fenwick World Class Rods
That's why I was thinking about picking it up, but so far it seems like it isn't even worth it at $229.00 based on the feedback I'm seeing, I may bite the bullet and go hardcore and pick up a the new Steez Finesse game special, I have an opportunity to pick it up 20% off, but I keep hearing there could be issues with guides breaking. I have been eyeing that rod for a while, I was waiting on a sale.

Fenwick World Class Rods
Hi Everyone, I need another spinning rod like I need a hole in my head, but I have the itch to get the Fenwick world class 6'10 ML, I have had Fenwick's in the past and always liked them. Anyone have any input or experiences with the world class rods they can share before I decide to pull the trigger https://www.tacklewarehouse.com/catpage-FENWIK.html?from=basres
