  1. I'm looking to pick up one of these rods, I had a 7ft M posion adrena and was extremely disappointed in it, tip heavy and not ultra sensitive, I have a 7ft ML Zodias spinning rod and it is outstanding. I am seeking a finesse set up for light Ned's, the UL power on the adrena worries me , but it's rated up to a 1/2 oz , so I'm not sure what's the story there. Just to make things more interesting, I am also thinking about an Edge Black Widow DSR 711 spinning for this finesse set up. If anyone has experience with any of these rods ,please post your opinions. Thanks in advance.
  2. I don't see what the problem is.?
  3. This DX 746 flip with the new Bantam XG is an outstanding Heavy Pitching/Flipping/Punching rod setup.
  4. Merry Xmas and Happy Holidays to all!

    Welcome aboard!
  6. Duo Realis Rozante 77sp, Pointer 78 are winners. The raplala x rap 8 definitely deserves an honorable mention.
  7. Received mine last week
  8. Thanks, $1.09 with tax. This has been quite the year for holiday sales.
  9. Tech stuff not my specialty, but I think I figured it out.
  10. I couldn't wait. Got a nice Ned rig set up, you know it's interesting of all the techniques/presentations one can use to catch bass , I have been ignoring Neds. It's almost like a sign from the fish gods, don't forget about this. Thanks, Happy Fishmas!
  11. The second box should have at least one more crankbait. Santa looked all over the workshop seeking a few things that are new and a few things that are no longer available, I hope they work out for you.
  12. My fishing buddy has this rod, it is outstanding in terms of weight and sensitivity for cranking. I would say its sweet spot is 1/2oz -5/8oz cranks.
  13. All of my weekend pure fishing binge orders have been updated with shipping confirmation.
  14. If you are interested in all graphite, consider the Dobyns Kaden 734cb or 735cb, both rods are super light, have excellent parabolic bend and solid backbone, they are wonderful rods for cranking.
  15. Shipment has been confirmed, I had a hard time figuring out what they would like based on what they have posted recently , so I selected lures based on what I think the bass would be interested given where they lived. I hope they like it.
  16. I have the Expride B 7'2 ML Spinning rod, it definitely feels more like a medium power to me. If you want a really nice ML spinning rod with outstanding sensitivity, take a look at the Daiwa Rebellion 7ft ML spinning, I find myself constantly gravitating towards it when out on the water.
  17. I have used the Fantasia X 6'10 ML spinning and the Zodias 7 ML spinning , I sold the Abu , I found the Zodias significantly better in terms of sensitivity, specifically for fishing 3/16 and 1/4oz neko rigs in deep(20ft +) water. I feel that monocoque handle makes a difference.
  18. I have the Black Widow MBR 733, very sensitive, at first the carbon handle had me thinking this will be too slippery in my hands, but after using it a few times , I came to realize it actually serves as a mechanism to amplify vibration and sensitivity. Edge makes nice rods, just don't expect it to ship out right away.
  19. Big Bite Baits Swimon and the new Berkley Powerstinger 3.5, Z man razor shad is works as well but I need to cut them down a little bit.
  20. The Duo Realis jerkbaits are phenomenal, I love throwing the 110sp and the 120sp at ice out absolutely killer presentation and sale promotions usually apply.
  21. RS is a winner, casts great and shares many of the same qualities as the original.
  22. When you say "fat" designed rods, do you mean it has a thicker diameter blank? Compared to similar action/price point rods.
  23. I have the Vanquish C3000M HG, I did not care for the T-shaped knob so I just ordered a knob from Shimano (RD18785) or (BNT5089). There is no need to purchase a new handle, I believe both parts fit, don't forget to order the knob caps as well.
  24. I recently picked up the Zolo Grind for cranking, workmanship, fit and finish is excellent. I was so happy with it, I bought a 7'4 Zolo Crank for smaller profile deep divers, I had the same experience in regards to quality and workmanship. I am impressed with ALX and would definitely purchase more down the road.
