I'll go first. I received these gifts early from my wife. Two thick flannel shirts from LLBean. Two spool of Yo Zuri Hybrid line in 4lb.And two pairs Carhartt thick wool socks. The clothes were needed. The line a bonus.

I couldn't wait. Got a nice Ned rig set up, you know it's interesting of all the techniques/presentations one can use to catch bass , I have been ignoring Neds. It's almost like a sign from the fish gods, don't forget about this. Thanks, Happy Fishmas!

Get rid of the 'img' tags if you want the link to work properly.

Where do you usually buy from? Found some on eBay but no retailers seem to have the 4lb. I wanna grab some for my bfs, seems like it would be perfect.

eBay is the only place ive found it. I usually eBay either way since retailers no longer carry the smoke colored line which is my preference.

They're talking 1000yd spools, dude - not 275yd spools

If I could be guaranteed that these are true Yo-Zuri, I'd be tempted to get one...I use 4# fairly often as light leaders for bass and mainline for crappie.

Can't find 1000 yards #4 so I settled for what I could get and that has not been easy!

Appreciate the link, there are 1000 yard spools on eBay but I worry about the age of those, especially with line that light. Do you find the 4lb yo zuri to be pretty strong? Have you used a palomar knot with it?

Yo-Zuri line #4 is not 4lb test.  #4 actually claims a breaking strength

of 8.5 lbs; #6 = 11.9  and #12 = 19.5.

I have been using the line for more than a decade. Knots are no

issue.

IGFA agrees - YZH's breaking strength is well above it's 'rating' across the board.

12# is my prime crankbait line, 8# is my weighted wacky, Neko, Shakey line on BC and 4# is my light leader line and is on one of my panfish rigs.

The unique mix means I don't worry about knots...anytime it's broken on me it's been above the knot, not at the knot.

When I was PM’d my recipients for Fishmas2022 I did a little research and placed an order a short time later. I just checked on the status of that order and it’s not gonna arrive at my house around the 21st, crazy stuff. With luck that package will get here sooner so I can get it shipped out with as of yet arrival date.

Just curious, am I the only one in this boat? And to my Fishmas2022 recipient I apologize for the SNAFU. Merry Fishmas!

Don't worry about it. Send it when you can. We all know how shipping can go this time of year.
