Shaw’s mustache makes me jealous

I get mine at hobby lobby. In my opinion the 24 gauge is the best. It’s heavy enough to get a tight twist but not so heavy you can’t work with it.

I hang out in the fishing department at Walmart every time my wife drags me to town to go shopping. It’s my little oasis.

For years I have felt like a weirdo because I hated using a drop shot , but now I can come out of the closet after reading these comments today ! Thank you guys for giving me the courage to open up. Hahaha , but seriously the drop shot sucks

I use a spinning set up when I use 8# and under. Mostly because my bait casting reels don’t have as good of a drag as my spinning reels .

Ah ! I forgot about white. I use white for my swim jigs a lot.

I broke the transducer off my fish finder 3 or 4 years ago. I super glued it and is still on today, I hope

My weakness is casting a drop shot. I can fish it vertically just fine, but I might as well cut it off and throw it in the lake if I try to cast it. My wife loves it, I know it works, but I have bad luck with the ol droop shoot. It’s either hung up or twisted in a knot half the time.

I would go with the top jig. The colors are called sexy shad. A white rage menace turned vertically is an awesome trailer , with the skirt trimmed about even with the bend of the hook , so your trailer has more action.

I watched a video with monster Mike and Scott Martin sneaking in somewhere to fish for some peacock bass. It was kinda weird

One time I set the hook on a minnow bag half full of mud. Next cast I felt another minnow bag so I just reeled it in . The minnow bag turned out to be a nice size bass! He just held on till we looked at each other, I set the hook about the same time he let go and I learned an important lesson. If it feels weird set the hook.
