The black max reel is pretty alright , but for the 7'MH there are better rods for the same price. At WalMart you can pick up a Lews Hank Parker for 39$ . They're lighter and a little bit more sensitive.

This time of year I fish all day , just to be safe. I don't wanna miss out when it happens.

I like the black max. I’ve only had one fail on me. When I tried to cast it hard the clutch would engage and the momentum jerked my rod in the water. That one got replaced pdq

I had a snake bite my fish before I could lift it out of the water. I no longer dangle my feet in the water at the dock.

I used to drink a lot of it, but I can’t remember if it was because it was good or just cheap.

Yikes that’s not good. I don’t remember Pabst tasting tinny , but it’s been awhile. Have you tried Milwaukee’s beast yet ? I’m having some Miller high life this evening. It’s supposed to be the champagne of beers but I have my doubts
