I read this article myself and have every intent of trying it also. One of the products they recommend is Case plastics stuff. My good friend Charlie Case has this particular Co. and he is a great guy. I already use his products almost all of the time and have had great sucess with them. Please let us know how you make out when you try this I would be very interstead to see how you do.

In February I will be going to work a booth at a sports show in Fredericksburg Va. I was wondering if anyone knew of any good fishing spots near that area. I don't know how much time I will have but I am not traveling all that way without fishing somewhere. Thanks. ;D

Well the only people that I have really had any experience fishing with is my kids and my hubby since none of my female friends fish at all. They all think I am nuts. This being the case I fish alone alot and quite frankly I like it that way. If I was gonna pick a partner to fish with it they would have to have a few qualities. First a sense of humor Be willing to have fun and not take things too serious Understand the whole concept of "Silence is Comfortable!", and not spend every moment yaking about every thought that comes through their mind. Last but not least, because I fish from shore most of the time they must be willing to climb over or wade through every horrible spot you can imagine in order to get to the good fishing spot. ;D

I accidentally ran mine through the washing machine once before. I did not take it apart or anything I just left it sit. It must have dried out just fine because it still works today. I have since gotten a new one but my daughter still uses the one that I ran through the washer.

Congrats on the pickerel. I love catching pickerel. I have also been cut by those teeth before myself and would be willing to do it again anyday. Those fish are fun to catch.

Well Congrats on your catch.. better you than me. I would have given him my whole rod if that is what it took to get away from him.

Over the course of the last week I only managed to fish once or twice. First spot was the giving pond. I only had about an hour. Temps were definitely cooler and water was much colder for sure. I know this because the mud that I was standing on gave way and I ended up in the pond muck up to my knees, which was not as bad as trying to get our of the muck. I did manage to get one VERY NICE crappie. It was the first one that I have ever gotten at this pond and the biggest crappie that I have seen so far, but I lost it almost right at shore. > Bummer! I tried for sometime to get it again but no luck. I did manage to pick up one very nice snotrocket though. It was the only fish I managed to catch on this day. Another pond another day temps were very cold and windy. It was very tough to fish in this wind but I did manage to pick up a perch. My first one ever and it made my day. Yesterday my uncle and I set out first thing in the morning to freeze our buts off another lake that my uncle got permission for us to fish. This morning was very cloudy but the wind was a bit easier, thank god.. It turned out to be a great little spot. We did not pull alot of fish out of this place but every one that we did manage to catch was 2.5 to 3 pounds. It was very cool! Uncle pauls my first fish of the day a few more Now 2 of the fish that I caught had what appeared to be some kind of sores on their mouth. If anyone has a clue what it is from I would love to know. One of the other fish I caught was blind in one eye. I think it may have been hooked quite a long time ago in that eye or something. This is what the sores looked like. Did not catch alot of fish last few times out but the ones that I caught did seem to be all good size.

Thanks everyone for your thoughts, prayers and suggestions. I really appreciate them. The suggestions are great, I actually have 5 dogs and in my case my error in judgement was that I confine the dogs at night. They are not allowed to roam the house. The dogs were confined to a room on the other side of the house and with the doors closed and all of the air conditioners running you could not hear a thing. This is no longer the case the dogs have free roam. Even our neighbors who have outside dogs never heard this guy. This guy new what he was doing. Probably has been watching. As for the gun I do have some but being as we do have children and alot of neighborhood kids here playing sometimes they are always kept in the safe. The thing is that I have always had the misconception that their would be time to get the pistol. The reality is that there is no time, as I found out the other night. In the case that he may return there is a 45 calibur kimber automatic anxiously awaiting for him. My children now sleep with me and my husband is sleeping on the couch with pistol in hand. My children no longer feel safe in their own home and that just eats away at me. This guy has to be caught. I am doing everything in my power to find him. I cannot let this perv get away.
