I’ve been able to watch a bit of live footage today, im really liking it, for me this is best series for watching, and I like the limited FFS. It adds some strategy, and obviously more fishing methods being used.

I saw another video from a guy that fished the opens that said Scott Blatantly broke the no info rule to qualify to fish the elites? And how others did, and in the opens it’s not really enforced?? He says his buddy fished the lake for 3 weeks straight before one of the events? I’ll try to find it… Site is outdoor Rx. Claims a lot of cheating going on. Not sure. If it’s true,

I really don’t even need the reel, but it’s like brand new condition. Anyone wants it , let me know. Needs a handle.

My buddy just gave me a plueger president spinning reel, it’s a size 40, somehow he lost the handle. It’s like brand new, where is my best bet to get the correct handle?

The crush 50 does have an extra loud rattle available! I just looked. I have the 6th sense app, which I assume takes me directly to their home site. It’s not available in every color, but it is there in some colors well , I gotta say I just went to the site, not thru the App, and it does appear that the extra loud rattle is no longer listed, my bad. I orderd about 50 of them In the past in all three variations, but not for about a year.

Yes, with BassTrakk and all the live coverage and updates, who needs to go to the weigh in?? The results are pretty much already known. i thought it was more exciting watching the MLF tournament. on another thread guys were complaining about a bass hitting the bottom of the boat for a moment. How about riding around in livewells and getting dumped in and out of multiple bags for an entire day.

On the 6th sense website. I have the App. When you click on a color of crank bait, below it should pop up options for size, and type of rattle. Not all colors have every option. , and if orderd thru retailers like Bass Pro Shops, this might not be offered. I always orders directly from 6th sense.

It seems odd to me that on a great bass fishing lake, some guys only have a couple legal fish after a day and 1/2 of fishing?? Not saying I could do any better🤣

So with the bass track, are the anglers reporting their catches? So some just don’t?

I grew up a walleye and perch fishing guy. I’m now full blown bass. No regrets, absolutely love it, although I still catch crap from some my buddies 🤣. Some people just don’t get the point of fishing for enjoyment, and not keeping and eating everything they catch.

Man , I feel for you! I am so thankful Wi has a year round catch and release season! I do live a couple minutes from Lake Winnebago thou, that has always been open year round. I fortunately don’t know the feeling of waiting for opening day. Wisconsin has tons of great bass fishing lakes, not to mention the Mississippi River. And the bay of Green Bay or sturgeon bay, some the best smallmouth fishing anywhere.

6th sense crush 50 for me, I have a bunch. Good hooks , and they offer loud rattle, faint rattle , and silent. I also like Rapala , but dang , them balsa baits are fragile! Don’t slap them on the water, and 1 bad cast that hits a rock or something solid can be the end of that bait. should add: 6th sense occasionally has ridiculous deals on certain colors or what not, got some as cheap as 2.99. At least they used to . Haven’t looked this year cuz I already have about 50 of them.

Well at least it looks like a lot of guys got a good chance yet, could be interesting. I tried watching some live today, but truthfully it’s pretty boring to me. Like to keep checking in though. Go Jay P.!

Not me. Like checking out new stuff. I go for good sales too, and many are so similar, I can’t imagine there is a difference in results. i can’t imagine a bass would pass up a rage bug, but hit a bandito bug. (or many others) .just my opinion.

I too fish 12-15 lb mono on most my baitcasting setups with no issues at all. braid for frogs, and sometimes swim jig. I know a lot of guys speak of stretch, but for pitching jigs and Texas rigs, i really don’t have a lot of line out, so I don’t see it as an issue. Cranks - the rods I use are moderate, so I’m not putting tons of pressure on the line. works for me, and I replace the first 100yards of line a lot. Mono is cheap.

Not sure, no body in my area sells them that I know of, and guess I just always bought new.

Never bought a used rod or reel
