Looking at those payouts, it’s got to be a hard way to make a living. Finishing 11th in every tournament of the year could not pay the bills with all the travel expenses

Ned Red has been my best very early. flat sided crank, Rapala OG , and tiny and lipless, various. I’ll try a couple jerk baits also, but not a ton of confidence in them. I know they work, but I just have never done great with them.

I get that, but I think it’s not fair for the angler that’s way ahead of everyone, to start even again. It’s a matter of opinion. I find both entertaining.

Gee whiz, that sounds like a great deal. I believe that is affiliated with St. croix, so I can’t imagine it’s a bad reel. Size 1000 is like an ultralight reel. im sure its worth it. Sorry, you said it’s an ultralight reel. I’m sure it’s a good deal.

My biggest also on a Ned rig, which many people say only catch dinks.

1 last thing to say, I’m in walleye country, and I catch some slack from some of my buddies that think bass are so easy to catch. We just saw some of the best bass guys in the country, on a great location, and they did not all ( including the winner) catch a limit every day. it’s not that easy 😎

Only top 6 had a camera. Every competitor is required to have a camera recording the entire day. meaning a go pro camera or similar in the boat.

I would say it would be perfectly fine for most cranks

Looking thru my photos I see in 2022 and 2023 it was April 10th. So I’ll go with that. Last year we had open water very early, that’s not happening this year🙄 Awesome that wi has year round catch and release season for bass, so I can’t wait.

I watched some small parts today, my streaming worked fine. I don’t mind if the bites a little tougher. It’s hard for BASS to win. Either complaints about too many fish on ffs, now too slow of bite and not big enough with many not using it🤣 one of the parts I watched, Hackney was talking while he was fishing, and the announcers were talking over him the whole time,. They could stop talking once in awhile 🤣

A 2# bass is not a dink in my parts, A 5 # bass in Wisconsin is not very common.

Love all the Rapala and most 6th sense stuff. Both come with good hooks in my opinion, at least for a non tourney guy like myself. Tons of square bills for me too. And Lipless, and DT series, and OG series from rapala, and …. it just keeps going 🤣 I’ve literally orderd 4-8 of some of my favorite at a time🤣 dang pike steal them🤣

This just showed me, watching guys catch a bunch of fish using FFS is no worse than watching guys hardly catch any fish without it🤣 Id rather just go fishing than watch any of it! unfortunately all ice in my parts. another month…

Got one, I keep it around to glimpse thru, but truthfully they have only a fraction of what products they sell in magazine. far better to just go to BPS app. Handy to keep in the bathroom for browsing.

I very interested, and tuning into some of this for the first time ever. I think it’s a great concept. It really shows how much of an advantage FFS is. Guys had most their fish during that one period. Still feel it’s a good step foward. And even though less fish without it, I feel it did show that some guys are great regardless. But still , way less fish without it
