Olive Garden, Applebees and many other are just serving glorified TV dinners. I'm no connoisseur, but decent restaurant food is hard to come by - period. Plus I suffer from aging, which makes me think that the prices are outrageous. I used to ride my bike into town with a dollar and get 4 burgers and a Coke at the Snow White Grill. A $20+ breakfast for me and my wife and I leave hungry? If I'm going to pay for mediocre food, give me a cheap buffet any day.

@Bassinheimer You won't regret it. I've seen posts in this thread making other suggestions, but I haven't seen one post trying to steer you away from these.

I just checked - 10% lower after code. I lost $9 by ordering yesterday, but there was no guarantee they'd still have them today. No biggee.

I have too many 7’3” M/H rods as it is and I can find a use for the 6’10”. Either way, I’ll never find a better price. This is one of those rare deals.

You won’t beat that Daiwa no matter how you slice it. I saw it yesterday and passed on it only because I absolutely do not need another rod. I have several Dobyns and Lews, and a couple Daiwas and like them all - that Daiwa Tatula is a great rod and you won’t regret it.

A 4” weightless wacky rigged senko on a medium baitcaster is as close as I get to “finesse” fishing. My lake is all muck bottom and not really suited for neds etc… Chuck and wind, pitch and hop - limited I know, but it’s how I like to fish.

As long as it’s not Pizza Hut, I’ve rarely met a pizza I didn’t like. The local Mom & Pops charge $25+ for a large pie. I mostly eat the self-rising frozen nowadays. My brain automatically rejects today’s restaurant prices.
