  1. Good to see you back @Hammer 4 . You and Dee have remained in my prayers .
  2. I thought the same. πŸ˜‚ T-Billy is just something I came up with referring to me being a Tuscarawas County hillbilly. Now I'm back home in Carroll County, so I suppose it should be C-Billy. Nah, I'll just keep rocking the T!!! Lol
  3. Hmm....... I wonder how the sweet beaver got it's name? πŸ€”
  4. 832 for my bass rods. Fins XS Big Game on my muskie rods.
  5. Ark Invoker Pro, 7'4" H MF composite rod, 30# braid, Zillion HD 7 speed.
  6. I like to pitch the deep stuff all summer. It grows out to about 13' on my favorite lake. In spots where it doesn't grow out as deep, I like to work the outside edge with a chatter bait or an Ol' Monster worm at night. These are generally hard bottom areas that are fairly steep.
  7. This girl musta went on the ozempic after the spawn. 20.5", but only 3.5#.
  8. It always feels good to put Tammy on fish. 38" and 41". She also lost a couple.
  9. That's a great sight to see A-Jay. Congrats to you both.
  10. Bladed jig, toad, 10" worm, jig. Bladed jig is my #1, but the others all play at times.
  11. No sir. I only have 93 years left to accomplish this goal. πŸ˜‚
  12. Maybe, if I remain healthy enough to fish until I'm 150 years old. πŸ˜‚
  13. Looking forward to the report. I hope Lynn sticks some biggins.
  14. Well... Maycation has officially come to an end. Back to reality tomorrow. I finished strong though, picking up four today. 44 - 41.5 - 40 and 38. Nice thick 44" 41.5" This scrawny 40 is an absolute glutton for punishment. Two of my friends and I caught it 5 times last year when it was 39. Caught all six times in May/June within a 1/4 mile area. Didn't take a pic of the 38".
  15. GO BIG OR GO HOME!!! Wait... You are home.... Hmm... NEVERMIND. πŸ˜‚
  16. Finally had a good day today after a brutal week. Lots of sunshine and light winds have had 'em in a funk. Fat 45" 43" I also caught a 39" but didn't take a pic. She was hooked deep and it took some time to get her unbuttoned. Didn't get gills or gullet and she swam off fine but I didn't want to stress her anymore. Tomorrow's the last day of vacation. Hopefully they're still chewing.
  17. I'm a member of the Ohio Husky Musky Cub and they hold several tournaments a year, but I have no interest in tournament fishing. Bass tournaments never interested me either. I just enjoy getting out there and trying to outsmart fish that have a bigger brain than me. 😁 Fishing really is a cathartic, spiritual thing for me. Tournament fishing runs contrary to the reason I'm out there in the first place. I have no interest in FFS for a similar reason. It takes too much of the mystery out of it.
  18. Oh yeah. Some by a lot.
  19. Scary ordeal. Glad the docs got it figured out. Prayers for smooth sailing going forward.
  20. There's a time and a place for it. Pick that thing back up when the water drops below 55 next fall Katie. That rod I sent you will work well for it. A stout rod takes a lot of the work out of casting it. SLOW roll it with an occasional hard crank. Most bites will come on that speed change.
  21. You poor fella. Must be rough to have to "settle" for that haul. I feel for ya. πŸ˜‚ Congrats on a great haul brother. Looks like a ton of fun. Maycation has been kinda slow numbers wise, thanks to some crazy weather, but the quality has been there when I can get 'em to go. 41" 42.5" 43" 44" 44" 46.5" 7.08# and new PB.
  22. I'll get all the rest I need when I'm dead. πŸ˜‰
  23. I lived a wild life for a few decades and worked physically demanding jobs.
  24. It sucked for sure, but in the grand scheme of things, no biggie. I dislocated my right shoulder five times before finally getting it fixed. THAT SUCKS BIG TIME!!! Broken ribs, ankle, both wrists, broken sinus cavity, teeth knocked loose, three concussions all to the base of the skull. Hello CTE. All way worse than today's fiasco. πŸ˜‰ This is the second time that crappie rig has got me though. Going forward, if they only have one hook, I'm gonna cut the free hanging one off the rig before unhooking the fish. I make my own rigs and it only takes a few minutes to replace the piece of wire.
  25. Nope, not barbless. The point in the finger came out pretty easy. The one in the thumb took FOUR tries. πŸ€¦β€β™‚οΈπŸ˜‚ Just left stat care. Got a tetanus shot and some antibiotics. All good. Back after them tomorrow.
