I want that jerkbait, that looks PURDY!

Barry Bonds
His head has muscles growing out of it, it's not IF he took performance drugs, cause he OBVIOUSLY did, he's just not a man and can't admit he willingly took them. No ones head grows that big, that round, and gets MUSCLES in their head like that.

New G-Loomis rod?
Rod, for sure.

Barry Bonds
I live in Oakland, a 10 minute drive from SF, and I don't hate barry bonds, but I have 0 respect for him. I wish he would walk away from baseball, 1 away from tying the record, and just bow out respectfully. Don't cheat to break a record, he knows he cheated, why would he do that? Regardless, Barry Bonds will always have that * beside his name in the record books.

Popping a wacky rigged Senko Style bait
I know a few people who do this with pretty good success. One guy puts a weight and a bead above the hook so it sinks to the bottom quicker.. Kinda kills the point of it slowly falling, but he manages to catch fish. It's a great way to fish a wacky rigged senko. keep it up

Buzzbait selection
I'm going to order 2-3 buzzbaits, I've used them maybe once or twice, and then gave them up. I figured I'd go with a black one, and white/chart one, and maybe one other color, what colors would you guys recommend for buzzbaits. Also, what brands? So many companies are making them, not sure what to pick?

Worth selling 2 rods for 1 better quality rod?
I decided to keep the Extreme rod and just use it for other things that require less jerking and moving of the rod, and I ordered a Gblanks rod for fishing my jigs and frogs. Thanks everyone for the advice. and cart, I too agree, I like buying things over the forums much better, your service was great, but I didn't know about any other forums besides this one. I'll keep that in mind for my next purchase.

When throwing a jig...
I do not throw a jig without a trailer. The jig is supposed to imitate a crawdad, so love using craw trailers. I use Pork rind trailers, but many use plastics , not sure if one works better then the other. It's preference.

That's awesome. There's no places like that near me. No bass pro shop in Northern California, No gander, no dicks, NOTHING.

Shimano Citica 200D
That's got me wanting another now. I think I'm going to save a bit more and get the currado , but I love my Citica and that's tempting. $100 for them is great and well worth it. you'll love it!

Is high priced rods really worth it??
Then why not make do until you have enough $$ for a Powell? Cause there are other solutions better then an Extreme, not to mention why not try out other companies and rods to see if you find something else you like? Experimenting.

What kind of extreme rod, size action etc?? I noticed such a big difference in feel and the confidence booster was nice too. i think you notice the most difference when you step into the Loomis and rods of that sort. You get such a sensitive rod that is so light but so strong. why can't they be cheaper ? =P

Powell rods are wonderful, that's what I used some of the time at the tournament this past weekend. That's what god me wanting a light rod

Is high priced rods really worth it??
For me, it's tough to tell. I jumped from a garbage rod and reel, to a Shimano Stradic ($120) / Bps Extreme rod ($100), so both were you could say Mid-Grade. I do credit some of it to just reading bass resource more. But rod and reel made a huge difference. If anything, it gave me so much more confidence, made me feel like a pro! Now if you see my thread, I'm concerned with weight, so I just ordered a 3oz rod as opposed to my current which is around 8oz. I can't wait! To be honest I'm not sure what is more important, rod or reel, that is way I paid a mid price of roughly $100 for each or $150 for each that way I was in between with both, instead of having a very expensive reel and a cheap rod.

Eh, as I'm learning, rods make a HUGE difference. You have two $200 reels, and very in expensive rods. I've been buying $120 reels ( Citica and Currado will be the next reel I get ), and I just ordered a nice light Gblanks rod. I never thought much of rods, until I used one in the tournament I fished last weekend, and was in HEAVEN. Light rods make a big difference. Good light rods make all the difference. I was fishing a no name rod for months, and just after switching rods, same lake same baits, I was feeling more fish, and catching more fish. Makes a big difference.

All you so called "Fishermen or Anglers"...
So Dabnis feels the need to PM me for I dont' know what reason. I don't think I said anything negative about him what so ever. "I did'nt misunderstand anything. It's not about the forum rules, it's about the *aholes* who think they're better than somebody else. Including you! I'll take my name off this site, unsubscribe to it or wwhatever. I'm just glad that I never have to fish with high and mighty ******** like you and the rest who had two cents to add. And in closing... You and all the rest can go *he said the f word* yourselves with the bass you "catch and release". How's that?"

All you so called "Fishermen or Anglers"...
I did not message you, nor say anything that should have upset anyone. As I've said before, as long as you're doing it legally, all is fine. BUT, if you want to show off your fish, and don't want the negative comments, an easy way to get rid of those negative comments would be to be considerate and post pictures that aren't in the kitchen. You're allowed to post kitchen pictures, but others are allowed to voice their opinions on it as well. This whole thing just needs to be dropped. This discussion could go on for years, but there's absolutely no point. Post kitchens pictures if you'd like, but if you'd like others to be nice, or happy for you, pictures of them alive may get you that.

Worth selling 2 rods for 1 better quality rod?
Eh, It's only on long outings, after 4hours or so is when my hand begins to bother me. It's not terrible pain, but it's a discomfort. I figured a lighter rod would just make things all around easier on me.

Worth selling 2 rods for 1 better quality rod?
Thank you very much. health and feeling well is more important I guess in the end then a couple extra dollars. Although I will have to part with my new rod, and spend a little extra, it'll hopefully be worth it. Any other suggestions then the 3-4oz Gblank rods? $125 sounds pretty sweet for a split grip custom rod that weighs so little. I'm curious to know how much the Extreme rod weighs, I can't find that info anywhere :-?

Worth selling 2 rods for 1 better quality rod?
Yah I use a cheaper spinning combo for my cranks and other treb hook stuff. I use my Extreme 6'6/ Stradic for plastics 6'6 is a bit small and 7 feels just a bit big, so maybe the 6'10 is perfect. I'm not sure about the tips on the gblanks, do you know anything about that. Firm? Fast action? The 7ft Extreme rod i've been using is very nice, just not light enough for me, and after fishing this guys Split grip rods at my last tournament, I really want one!!!! ;D

Worth selling 2 rods for 1 better quality rod?
As I'm sure you've noticed RW, I over think everything , WAYYY too much. You think that 6'9 or 6'10 mh gblanks would be a pretty good all around rod if I were to only have one BC ? Jigs / frogs / spinner baits? Or is there something else that's light that I should get if I were to only go with one baitcaster.
