All you so called "Fishermen or Anglers"...
Everything you wrote is true, and I dont' think people are upset that he's keeping the fish on occasion, it's just the posting of kitchen pictures that's really getting to everyone. Keep your fish if you'd like, just dont' show us kitchen shots, that's all most people care about (like myself). People are entitled to do what they want, as long as it's following the law, which he is obviously doing. But if he cares about making friends on here, or showing off fish pictures, at least meet us half way and just show pics from the lake. Everyone here is very respectful, but please try and respect us as well. That's all I ask, and i'm sure others would like.

Worth selling 2 rods for 1 better quality rod?
Right now I have a Shimano Schimitar 6'6 M rod with a Bps Pro Qualifier reel, and a 7ft MH Extreme XPS rod with a Shimano Citica reel. Both rods are not light to say the least, and my arm and hands have been bothering me (I'm 19 and this is pathetic but it's the truth). I've felt like I have tendinitis in my hand and it's getting worse as I fish more. I have used the balancing weights on the Extreme rod and although it's balanced, still just doesn't feel light enough for me. These are my ONLY TWO Casting combos, and I was thinking about selling both rods only, and getting a Gblanks rod (Very light rod 3.6oz and split grip which I love). I'd put the Citica on that, and then keep the Schimitar with BPS Qualifier reel as I can't get much for the rod and I like the reel a LOT (Thanks Cart). Or sell just the rod and wait 6 months to get another Gblanks rod (assuming I like them) to pair with the BPS PQ. I was looking at a 6'10 or 6'9 MH Gblanks rod , I can throw just about anything with it, jigs, frogs, spinnerbaits, etc.. I have my spinning combo that I use for all my plastics. I'm trying to be budget conscious, but it's tough when my hands are hurting to hold a rod for a few more hours.

All you so called "Fishermen or Anglers"...
Is it that hard to take pictures at the lake? Kitchen shots are tough for many fishers on here to stomach, and it's not a pretty site. Why not, take the pics at the lake, and leave it to yourself whether or not you took the fish home.

Wednesday Morning Fishing 2...
at least take the pictures at the lake, and don't tell us and show us you took them home. Kitchen shots give me an upset stomach :-/

Shimano Citica 200D
I just got mine last week, fished 3 times with it and love it. Great reel.

Im all about soft plastics but...
I just started taking bass fishing serious in March or so of this year, and when I did, I read great things about Senkos. After catching a few fish, naturally that's all I fished! For the past 2-3 Months now, I've fished a senko maybe 3-4 times and have been out over 50 times. After Senkos I went to Shaky Head, then Drop shotting, then tried crankbaits, then frogs, now jigs and swimbaits. All of a sudden, I fished my first tournament, and nothing was hitting the Shaky head or Jig for me, and I figured why not use the Senko, and sure enough pulled out a 7lb 2oz bass on the 3rd cast or so. Although it's great to always try new baits, never forget the others. It's been a bad tendency of mine to only fish one way for a month or so, then try another way. It's great to become versatile.

Rod and Reel???
I'd get a Citica Reel and a nice rod, or a Currado reel and a bit cheaper of a rod.

CUSTOM ROD QUESTION
Muddy is right, Custom is made customized for the specific person. But I think people use it pretty loosely and use it to describe a rod made not by a major company, and it's unique and there's no two the same.

FINALLY FIRST FOUR BASS ON JIGS!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It's about time! Congrats man.

MUST READ MegaStrike Thank You Review- Holy $*^&
I already purchased a few, and wouldn't you know after 3 minutes caught a 3lber. They're great jigs, only thing is I wish the packs of two had two separate colors, or each pack could come one 3/8 and one 1/2 in the same color. Otherwise, no complaints, jig is awesome.

1 hour - 1 rod - 1 jig - 1 fish
Trim the guard, Remove about 1/4 of them, then fan them out. This one I caught on an Evolution Jig, with a fluorocarbon weed guard, they're pretty need, I recommend going out and picking up a few.

GBlanks rods

GBlanks rods
Hey, I saw someone post something about them a few months back, but entirely forgot what was said. I'm looking for a LIGHT rod with some power for jigs, and something with a split grip. There's a few nice GBlanks for $125 or so , 7ft MH 3.6 Ounces. Only thing I haven't heard of are the guides being used, TITANIUM NITRADE GUIDES, how do these compare to fuji? Any information would be great. I don't want to spend over $150 and that's the highest possible I don't even want to pay that, otherwise I'd buy a Loomis ;D

Sorry Muddy :-[ Thanks guys, and LBH, I have been fishing a jig my own way for about 2-3 weeks now. But that fish came off a combination of my retrieve and a bit from your video.

Why not bring home cats, trout, crappie, etc..? Soon enough there will be no bass in your waters to catch.

Thank you sir, I'm getting the hang of it, just trying to put my own touch and feel to it and get down a pattern. None the less, jig fishing is awesome and is my favorite bait already!

First "Tournament" / New PB
Haha, maybe I should have used her as bait? Not only was it great winning big fish, it was 1000 times better because it was the first tourny i've fished, and the first time I had met everyone in the club. I had been nervous for a few days, felt very pressured to do well!

1 hour - 1 rod - 1 jig - 1 fish
Everyone else was posting jig fish, I figured I'd keep it going! I went out just for an hour to practice up on jigs, I have been catching some decent fish on them, but I'm not confident enough with them. So I took only 1 rod and headed out there. I had 2-3 hits and finally after about 30 minutes, hooked my one and only fish of the night. 3lb 6oz. (Man do I love finally having a scale, I weigh anything I catch now!! )
