Revo SX vs New Curado
I ended up getting both guys. Curado 100D and Revo SX. I'll let everyone know my thoughts. I don't like having to take the Curado apart to adjust it, but I love the size. The Cuardo fits to my hand PERFECTLY, and the Revo is a tad bigger. I'll see which one I like better.

Shimano Scimitar????
I have one, it was my first BC rod I had. I hate it, to say the least. But for the price, it's not too bad I guess. Compared to any other rod over $70 though, it's not great. I cut mine up trying to make it a split grip for fun, turned out bad, and I don't care cause I never use it.

Reel not properly fitting in the seat?
I went out and used the rod/reel for the second time, I just tightened down a bit extra, and all was fine, didn't have a single problem. Only one small fish on the new rod, DAMNIT!

Reel not properly fitting in the seat?
Hey guys, I saw in the Kistler thread that someone had a problem with their reel not fitting snug and tight in the reel seat. I just got a GLX 844C with a Curado 100D, and am having the same problem. It's not MAJOR, as sometimes it feels perfectly snug and tight, but every so often I can feel just a small slip where it feels loose. Is this a defect in the reel seat, or is there any easy fix?

Deep Cycle Battery (How many AH for 55lb thrust?)
I used the battery / motor on Saturday. Fished 7 hours, used the trolling motor 90% of the time, it was windy as hell and I had the motor on almost the entire trip. I got home, put it on the charger, the battery had 1/4 life left in it. I used it on top speed for a while as well. Probably an hour all together of full speed, and then the rest of the time 2-3. Guess that's not too shabby.

Interesting Senko Catch
Happens a lot near me. Saw a guy pull out a 6lber a few weeks back on a senko.

Deep Cycle Battery (How many AH for 55lb thrust?)
Thank you Mike, that's what I ended up getting. The 105 was $170, the 90 was $110.

Circuit Breaker for Battery to trolling?
Hey guys, I just got my trolling motor and battery yesterday. How important is it to get a circuit breaker, and how do I go about installing it? Is it ok to fish today with out it? Or is it risky? What's the point of the breaker? My trolling motor and battery are at the back of the boat within a foot of eachother.

Carrot Stick ordered
I'll use it for you while you're gone.

Carrot Stick ordered
$150, that's not too bad, if it's good enough for Robert, it's definitely good enough for me. Please, let us know what you think!

Deep Cycle Battery (How many AH for 55lb thrust?)
The trolling motor will be pushing a 12ft Zodiac ( Inflatable boat ) . I will be unloading it every time, thus the size concern.

Deep Cycle Battery (How many AH for 55lb thrust?)
Hey guys, I've been getting mixed answers from different sources, so I figured I'd come to you all! I have a 55lb thrust Minn Kota Endura (transom mount). At the store near me they have a 75ah / 90ah / 105ah. The 105 is Massive, the size of almost two of the other batteries. The 90ah is fine, but I'm concerned it's not enough? How many hours do you guys think I can run this trolling motor for? This is my only form of transportation as I have no Outboard for now. It has 5 speeds plus 3 reverse. I figured I'd run it in 3 most of the time and only 5 if I'm fighting wind or something. Thank you in advance, David

Revo SX vs New Curado
Ok, well I got the curado, I didn't want a 7.1 reel. Got a brand new curado 100d for $150.

new site good deals
Anyone know anything about that Team Daiwa Tierra rod on there? $55 for a Team Daiwa rod? What's it good for if anyone knows anything about it?

Revo SX vs New Curado
Honestly, $79.99 for a reel that is practically the same (Minus a few things) as the SX for $150 I might get to SC's. i want another reel for crankbats/jerkbaits (Could I also throw spinner baits or is the ratio too high? anyway, I sorta wanted a reel for that. Maybe I could get to almost for the price of one SX. I have another rod that needs a reel in the closet anyway. Just curious. Do you notice a big difference in the SX vs the SC?

Revo SX vs New Curado
What if you were using the Viento for jigs? Obviously I would be using the twitching bar, I can hop a jig without moving the rod! That's why I'm even considering it, otherwise I would.

Revo SX vs New Curado
I'm looking for anyone that has BOTH or at the very least, used BOTH. Which do you like better? I'm very fond of Shimano, and leaning toward the Curado, BUT, I have been hearing such great things about the Revos that I can't fully make up my mind.. Also found the Viento for $150. So I'm really torn between 3 reels. This is going with a MBR844C Gloomis GLX Mag Bass rod for jigs only.

The Senko has to be the most lethal lure ever made
Just wait till fall kicks in, and especially spring. To be having a good summer is tough, but sounds like the senko gave that to you. Just wait till spring, you'll have a blast.

My Babies
Smaller bass are MUCH more aggressive then larger bass from what I have noticed. I think that is what you're noticing. Once they get bigger, they won't eat anything they see.

Avids on sale at BPS.
I can't even find St.Croix rods at all on Dicks Online =\

One of those days
That's the very reason I invested in a net! BASS you cannot use nets, but FLW you can (IF i'm correct). I haven't lost a single fish yet if it's been within 10ft of me.

I'm in TROUBLE!!!!!
How bout I send you 20 packs of Basstrix 6" for a steez rod!! Haha, man now you have me thinking I shoulda got the Steez instead of the GLX. I know you told me to, but I got the GLX For $290 instead of $355. Did you end up winning the bid on that 7ft?

best jigs
Use the search button, there is a thread like this. Everyone has a different opinion on jigs, and you're going to get a WIDE variety of answers here because everyone has their own preferences. I like thick skirts, sharp hook (gamakatsu), and a nice head. 1. MicroMunch (I just got them in the mail today, and looks alone they beat the other 10 jig brands I've tried this past month). 2. Evolution Jig 3. JigX 4. Rabbit Hair Jigs 5. Skinny Bear

I'm in TROUBLE!!!!!
Haha, Robert was telling me to get a Steez over the Loomis GLX rod. I was going to, BUT I found a good deal on a GLX 844C and went with it instead of the steez. My next rod will be a Steez. I'm sure robert will sell you one of his, what , 20? Lol. He has an entire collection going of steez rods.
