It’s been a bit too hot for me as well. With my laundry list of health problems I’m not pushing it outside. Been working on our camper lately doing some much needed remodeling but it has a/c so not bad. I hold off fishing until late afternoon or early evening. Same here after a company run. It was in New Jersey though back in 1980. Think the D. I.s dumped everyone’s canteen on me that afternoon. ?

I ditto what @Captain Phil said. I’ve had the same surgeries as his other than the S1 and am able to fish again albeit not like I did before. I’ll take it over not fishing ?

I haven’t run across any sticking so far on the 4 I have (2 Nexave/2 Sahara FJs). Had them for a year now +/-. How old are yours? When was the last time they were cleaned/lubricated?

Don’t jinx it Woody! ? Spent a couple hours tossing a weightless Big Bite Baits coontail worm in hematoma (dark blue-ish) and caught a few. Just tossed it out and let it sink then gave it a twitch or two before slowly reeling it back. About midway every time after a couple twitches it’d get slurped up and the line would start running. Drove me nuts just letting it sink and sit but it was working so I put in the patience. Biggest one was 2.8# and put on a heck of a tail walking show at first.

Now that you mention it I’ve been seeing the same thing. Maybe it’s the style sheet (CSS) having a hiccup. (Don’t ask. @Glenn will know.)

@Glenn ? This is on my 12” iPad. Landscape mode and portrait mode. Similar to y’all’s or not?

Try clearing the cache/cookies to see if it helps. For both browsers to do it though I'd say it may be related to something else. Have you tried on a different pc, phone or tablet?
