There’s always outliers, but I can see what they’re throwing. Take brands out of It, lots of cranks, jerkbaits, variety of plastic worms, etc.

I did the swivel thing on the one pictured because I was out of keepers but that’s the first time I’ve ever fished a c-rig that way. I fish It with the pictured tungsten cylinder weight, two Carolina keepers, and hook. Can adjust length of leader on the fly, one knot. Maybe we’re talking about the same thing?

Tough day out there but I’m in the lead by 2oz. Supposed to be a little warmer tomorrow. Hope for a better bite. Hard to get good pictures as this is a catch weigh release tournament and I was by myself (just buddies from work so we trust each other). Here’s the two highlights. 4lb 7oz big fish for the day and a smallmouth. Tourney started at 8am and I caught that big one at 807. Lol

I use 20lb and It seems manageable to me.
