  1. Found my big senkos. This is what I’m talking about:
  2. Swim baits and topwaters… Dobyns 734c in the the line you can afford. Sierra or Fury to save a little.
  3. I watch a lot of tournament fishing and I’ve noticed that the hammers that get the coverage are always throwing mainstays- bladed jig, spinnerbait, t-rig, senko, shakey, frogs, some buzzbait, crankbaits, jerkbait, drop shot depending on the guy…. Might have missed some but that’s about It. What I don’t see are dark sleepers, sleeper gills, weird topwaters like hellraizers and whopper ploppers or rats, crazy colors of all shades, geecracks, cover scat, no 15+” magnum worms, etc…. Kind of makes you wonder why we buy so much gear when the biggest tournaments in the world with the best anglers are won with senkos and chatterbaits and some roboworms. Lol PS- I’m currently watching Redcrest so if you’re planning to say well “so-and-so just won Redcrest with a savage gear anaconda” please no spoilers.
  4. Stripping the braid off these. Couldn’t stand It today.
  5. Man if I could just go to rock/metal concerts, buy a Harley (sold mine in 2015), and bass fish all over the country and never work again, I’d be a happy man.
  6. @Eric 26 I’ve seen A LOT of shows and the best I’ve seen was papa roach, Korn, then Volbeat. Evanescence killed It too. She can belt It.
  7. Took my buddy who doesn’t bass fish out today to Possum Kingdom. He’s not that experienced in fishing in general. I wanted to get him on some fish but told him up front I’m no guide so no guarantees. Air temps 45, water 53 when we got on the water. Started fishing at 830. I had us throwing chatterbait and swim jig for an hour with not one bite. About 930 I was feeling some pressure, not wanting him to skunk. (I’m used to It). I broke out the spinning gear and tied on some weightless zoom flukes. Turned out to be a pretty good move! Fished until 1130 with 10 fish including my buddy’s personal best. Just babies for me. He caught two others not pictured.
  8. Also breakfast this morning on a tortilla lol
  9. Lunch yesterday ?
  10. I got a 106sv, LS 34 with black box, amped 30ah lithium battery all in for $2818. Tell him to contact kandkkustomz.com
  11. Well just sold the skipping jig rod lmao. Will replace with a Falcon Expert Head Turner. I have a problem.
  12. Thanks Eric! I wish my pictures didn’t show up blurry on here. I promise they are good pics! Problem with my collection is there’s so many versatile rods that’s I don’t end up using a lot of them!

  14. Tell more about that reel. @Eric 26
  15. I swear I completely missed that til you pointed It out lmao OP, disregard my suggestion.
  16. If I was in to bfs and had bfs gear I would probably throw bfs tackle on It. Not a senko.
  17. Senko 10” power worm Fluke rage bug uv speed craw
  18. Has anyone fished both of these models? I had the lowrider and it’s the one rod I regret selling. Grass isn’t always greener. I used It for spinnerbaits and occasionally pitching. Swim jig once also. Lowrider is Heavy Fast Expert is Heavy Mod Fast I’m getting another head Turner and curious what your thoughts are if you’ve used both. Thanks
  19. Yeah I wouldn’t call a senko bfs. They are heavy.
  20. The only thing in my boat right now is required safety equipment including two life jackets, some quickleen and quickare, a rope, weigh bag and cull tags in Live well, dip net, measure stick, cull beam, light pole. That’s It. I have two large tubs of plastics, a terminal tackle box, and 3700 boxes for jigs (all types including bladed and spinner), crankbaits/lipless, swimbaits, jerkbaits, dropshot/Ned box. About 10 boxes total. I can catch fish year round with that. My gear and my 15 rods stay inside. I grab what I need depending on time of year and go.
  21. He said NEVER. Don’t question.
  22. It’s interesting how some automatically think wacky and spinning setup when they hear weightless senko. I think t-rigged with a casting setup. I like the power to set the hook and the 15lb line to pull them out. I only wacky with finesse worms in the summer for suspended fish. Not my favorite way to fish.
  23. Ordered my Siebert fogys, football jigs, and tungsten tonight. BR10 - 10% off
  24. Next winter I’m getting some flapslaps. Those look good. Hadn’t heard of them before this thread.
