I did my taxes yesterday. No stimulus for me. I'm paying in a small fortune. Luckily, I just received some back pay that I've been waiting on since September, so it didn't put me in a bind, but the bait monkey will have to wait.

Has anybody here used this blank? How did it perform with DD22s and similar crankbaits?

I have limited experience with Fluoroclear. I've used the 4lb on spinning gear for trout fishing, and it performed well.

No milk for me. I soak my fish in salt water.

I would not buy a Force for that very reason. I worked in a boat dealership for about a year right after I retired from the Army, and we were constantly breaking people's hearts by telling them that we couldn't get the parts they needed.

I've seen people do it. I always thought it was kind of silly. The only thing I use a swivel for is a Carolina rig.

Spinnerbaits are one of my favorites baits to fish. In over 35 years of bass fishing, I've used countless brands, and I can't remember ever having a wire break. I've had them get pretty mangled and bent so badly that there was no fixing them, but I've never actually broken one. You might give Stanley spinnerbaits a try. They use a tapered wire that provides both vibration and durability.
