    If everyone around there is using shiners, there's probably a good reason why. I'd say that you've answered your own question.

    Years ago, I was in the same situation after upgrading from 12v to 24v trolling motor. I just used a little trickle charger from time to time on the cranking battery, and I never had an issue.

    Worked for me! I used the Army's tuition assistance to get an A.A. and a B.A., and I was able to transfer my G.I. Bill benefits to my kids.

    I made it home from Kuwait last week, and I was finally able to see my new boat in person. I'm in love! So far, my only complaint is that the Skeeter ruler isn't long enough.
