I use the blue Stabil. I've put it in both my boat and my truck, and left them sitting during a year long deployment, and they both ran just fine when I got home.

Welcome to BR, Jarek! Check out the tackle making forum, and you'll see lots of examples of baits created by BR members. I used to tie my own flies for trout fishing, but I've never made my own bass lures.

A friend and I once drove 70 miles home after a successful night fishing trip only to realize that our fish were still on a stringer back at the river. That was a long night.

If you're catching two at a time, I'd say that you're already using the right bait! For what it's worth, my favorite way to fish a bluff wall is with dropshot.
