  1. Can’t help too much, but I fish Guntersville frequently. I’m a N Alabamian as well (I live in HSV). I’m always looking for folks to fish with, though I’m a kayak guy…
  2. Sometimes, he even offers to pay for gas back to the store. I took him up on it one time, but his card was declined at the pump, so I had to use my own. I was mad initially, but buying more baits made up for it…
  3. One look at that mustache and the hackers leave you alone anyway…it’s trustworthy!
  4. Nice A-Jay. Let us know how they fish…
  5. If for use, I’d get the white one. For display/collectors, get the left one if it’s worth more…
  6. That’s funny - when I bought that bento box Sunday morning my wife said “why don’t you actually try to use the stuff vs just buying it?” To which I replied “if I use it, I’ll lose it and have to rebuy it!”
  7. I just bought another bento from THU. They had a $99 and $249 bento today. ($400 and $700 value respectively).
  8. Or even the unbuckling of a belt from your father who “just worked 10 hrs for little pay and even less respect”.
  9. Marks is really good. I heard recently that they sold to new owners, but… I little more north (towards me) is Van’s in Cullman - the same Van’s that’s in Brandon, MS. They have a decent selection as well…
  10. I had a “box” of line fall over in my garage recently and I think that I actually had that arrangement staring back at me…
  11. If only you were all blind, it could’ve have been a double blind study…
  12. @bulldog1935 and I have dm’d quite a bit over the last year. Those combos are awesome looking, but some pics he’s sent me make me drool.
  13. Those things are for people that actually catch fish, so it’s a no for me…purely because I wouldn’t use it… That said, if it came in multiple colors, sizes and was JDM, I’d buy probably 10.
  14. Thought I’d give you a view of a 4 stitch cap “in action”
  15. Why yes, thank you Katie…
  16. Please stop posting things of this nature. Us southerners don’t even know what that is and we are afraid that it’s offensive. However, that looked like my house when I lived in NH. The one winter I lived there, we got snow thanksgiving weekend (we actually skied on Black Friday that year) that stayed on the ground until the first weekend in May.
  17. I just buy all the colors available. I don’t catch much fish, but I’ve got a tackle collection that is pretty good…
  18. My best friend’s step father wears one 24/7, 365. I don’t think I’ve ever seen him in anything other than a “Phil Armentrout” jumpsuit (that’s his name). Been wearing them since ‘83.
  19. I wear ankle socks IF I’m wearing something other than Birkenstocks or Chaco’s. I’ve eaten questionable meals in the army and locations abroad. However, I’m not a fan of Spam. Sporks, forks, fingers, whatever helps me get the food to my mouth the quickest.
  20. If you don’t have u-40 and don’t want to order any, Tipton Tru-Oil (for gun stocks). It works as well.
  21. One thing people might not realize is that baseball caps come in “stitch” length. This refers to the length of the bill. For example, I wear a 4 stitch behind the plate under my mask, then switch to a 6 stitch for the bases. Most baseball caps that are sold are 8 stitch. I prefer a 6 stitch but they are hard to find. The stitch refers to how many rows of stitching there are on the bill. I also prefer a flat bill cap when calling baseball as well. When I was growing up in the 70s/80s, as much curve as you could put into a bill was the thing. Never could understand a flat bill until I started umpiring… most of my “non-umpire” caps have a slight curve to them now, but nothing like when I was young…I wanted the edges of the bill to touch my face skin… Oh, and I’m a fitted hat guy, and if not fitted, it’s a snap-back. OSFM (one size fits most) hats usually don’t work for me…
  22. No, not just you Eric…I can’t see them either. Was really looking forward to seeing the sloth…
  23. Here in the South, we love a good jello casserole. Put some fruit in it, and you’re good to go. Or, take a page from The Griswold’s and put some cat chow in there…
  24. My wife and I hit 31 yrs in Jan. We figured out a long time ago it was easier and cheaper to just love each other and stay together 😂 I’m 52 and the thought of starting over scares me big time, so I just do what she says… That said, I know starting over on a work capacity is challenging. Especially as we age. So, I am sending positive vibes your way my man! I would say I’m down for a drink, but I’ve been sober almost 7 years, but if you need to talk, PM me and you can have a drink and I’ll smoke a bowl.
  25. Thanks red…I worked in the bearing industry for about 5 yrs, but I was managing a procurement team for aerospace bearings…They were bigger and different…mostly not shielded.
