I’ve been using one for about a year now and really do like it. I have put BKK packs in there already labeled, and like you, I have put other stuff in the boxes and added my label. Overall, I like it. I noticed on TW the other day that they have “mini” versions as well that are technique specific.

That’s kinda what I was wondering too…how “heavy” is it? I don’t like being restricted and I prefer layering as well..but, a $400 jacket for only $120 is very tempting…(still on sale today BTW)

Replenished my 4.5” spunk shad stock, grabbed two 3:16 mission fish 6” swimbaits and a couple of packs of Geecrack baobab hog ex to try out.

With the new platform, every post is now unread. That little blue bubble is annoying. It’s like the red bubble saying I have too many unread text messages. Is there any way to do a “read-all” or mark all as read?

I haven’t fished a comparable lure. Somebody out there, Sugartit or alternative lures maybe, has a KO version blank. The review I read seemed ok-ish. Said it didn’t fish like the real thing…am tempted to buy some to paint up and see myself…

Got an email from Mudhole today. If you’re looking for a Tsuka 2 handled rod, they now offer it in an all in one kit. I briefly looked and it’s available in 4 casting models. Didn’t look at the spinning models. I’ve been wanting a Tsuka handled build for a while, but was unsure if I’d like it. However, I just got a zodiac for Xmas and though not the same, I do like that style. For $200, probably not a bad kit.

I heard or read one time to add the stated weight range together and then divide by two. I use that as a max weight. Do I go over that? Yep, all the time, but I try not to throw baits at the top end of the range of the rod…

I screwed up at Black Friday. Had the $100 bento in my cart, went back to look at the contents of the bfs bento and by the time I went to check out, the $100 bento was out of stock. I was so mad!!

It was good. The tools are good. Only thing I hated was the reamer. The cork grips came “pre-reamed” already. If buying new cork grips for future builds, the reamer provided was too big. You have to step up the reamers for cork and this one is not good for new cork blanks. Does that make sense?

A DRT Klash 9 knock off (it’s actually a model in between the K9 and TK) in rainbow trout for a guy out in WA state. I’ll get the eyes and clearcoat done tomorrow.

This was actually a Mississippi grown water moccasin. I was about 11/12 and thought it would be a good idea to throw at the snake and try to catch it. In hindsight, that wasn’t a good idea. We did “land him” and actually tried to unhook everything. His body was wrapped in such a way that a stick held his head down. Yanked one table out and he got ticked. We just let it go after that…

I once caught a cottonmouth on a 3 treble jerk bait. All 9 points in the skin past the barb within 1 second..

I’m late to the game - sorry…I have a lexa 300 paired to my 7’10 mojo bass. I feel like it’s big. I would throw a tatula 200 on there if I wanted to buy something to replace with.

First rainbow trout. Looked much better prior to the glitter. Asked the wife to add an “touch” of glitter to the clearcoat. Her touch and line are different I suppose…
