He’s got a cramp” You could tell who all had an apparent cramp because 7th and 8th graders aren’t exactly Picasso when it comes to squirting mustard in your mouth. There was mustard all over the jerseys of the ones who apparently had cramps!

Dry suit vs wetsuit are for two different applications. A wetsuit relies on a thin layer of water between your skin and the neoprene. This layer is warmed by body heat keeping you warm. They are temp rated as well. That determines the mm thickness of the wetsuit. A drysuit is intended to keep you completely dry in water. I know this is probably already known, but just in case… As for removal? There isn’t a good way. You should try removing one after you just swam 1.2 miles and know you’ve got a 56 mile bike ride and a half marathon coming up right after the ride…😳😳 I ran the KS Half Ironman Tri in like 2010 or 2011. One and only time with a wetsuit (well, not really - I was a triathlon nerd heading into that tri and quit right after)

I grew up in central Mississippi. Our family owned a fish camp that was an oxbow lake from the pearl river (river in central MS). The lake was loaded with both white and black crappie, catfish, bass and the occasional “other” things. My cousin once caught a spoonbill bass (paddlefish) out of there. But, the best story from Arm, MS (that was the community) was one morning my dad walked into the cookhouse and my aunt Barbara (we called her Baboo) was in there making coffee and breakfast. My dad asked her “Baboo, how long have you been in here?” “An hour or so, why?” There was an 8-9’ gator uunder the cookhouse dining table. They both backed out slowly.

The East TN fishing show is next weekend in Knoxville. It’s posted over in the SE section, but I wanted to put this here for more eyes to see. I plan on attending and @IYAOYAS is as well. He is driving over from NC, and I’ll be up from AL. We are talking about meeting for breakfast on Friday and hitting the show at 9:30 Friday morning (buy your ticket online for early entrance - gen admission opens at 10). It would be awesome if others showed up! I’d love to meet some of yous guys in person!

Y'all already playing ball in WA? My first game (5/6 grade) is next week. I start HS ball Feb 19. (I’m an official). I usually call 10 months out of the year. Also, I tried spending money today. Went to Hog Farmer and they were closed. Went to BPS and didn’t find anything. Went to Sportsman’s warehouse and had some 2.5” mooch minnows in my hand and decided I didn't need them…

I have the tool and CAN do it if necessary. The only FG knot I have currently is braid (whatever PE is 7lb in sunline almight) to leader (6# FC) on my BFS setup. Why? I don’t know. I had to buy the tool because it looked cool I guess? Pretty much everything else line-to-line connection wise is an Albright.

I don’t watch either, but…that body of water is awesome. If you ever find yourself down this way, I have a spare bedroom. I live about 45 mins from Lake G. That goes for anyone on this board. There a fishing show in Cullman, AL this weekend that I might attend. I didn’t know about the E TN show until I saw a sign on my way to Chattanooga this weekend. I’ll be in Chattanooga next weekend as well with nothing to do, so I may drive up on Friday and visit.

However, I’m back in Chattanooga this weekend and am about to go visit Hog Farmer again. Unfortunately for the entire world, I quote Forest Gump word for word when it’s on. It is probably my favorite movie of all time. I can text my brother an innocuous 3 or 4 word “set” from Forest Gump and it starts a back and forth text exchange that can last for hours.

I drove by Guntersville on my way to Chattanooga this afternoon. I didn’t figure anyone would be where I was driving by, as for tourney, it’s not a high percentage area, annd there weren’t…anyway, it looked absolutely miserable out there. The winds had to be about 10-15 sustained with 20-25 gusts.

And it’s cold AF here. 30° with feels like 16°. I bet the run from civitan park this am was fun…wonder what the longest run was this am…

What frame nosepad were you looking for? I was wearing the “pro” series and that’s the nosepad that disintegrates. They are not sold as replacements from costa. You can find them on the interwebs, but I didn’t have luck…

I have a mix of owner and BKK in mine. Mostly owner, but I have quite a bit of the others bkk offers too. I am going to pick up the specialized versions of these boxes at some point because I find myself just grabbing a few of the smaller containers for certain times like drop shot or neko. Then, they are floating around my kayak forever until I remember to put them back in the “big box”.

I had an issue a few months back with costa and I vented in here and it got shut down real quick. Costa no longer offers a lifetime warranty. That changed when Luxxotica bought them out. I switched from costa to Maui Jim recently and could be happier.

Also remember that most BKK hooks now come ready to integrate in that box. So, if you’re trying new hooks by BKK, you won’t need the storage box most likely.

Last jdm order I placed, I got like 20 packs of BKK oval split rings because they were so cheap.
