So, most of you know I had to put my 12 yr old German shepherd down in October. That was a tough day. Well, today, I’m sitting on the couch and I hear my other dog laying on the bed make a big yelp. When I got in the bedroom, she made a loud, long howl and then stopped breathing. She had lost bladder and bowel control (on my pillow, nonetheless)…my 19 yr old said “I don’t know how to do dog CPR, but I’m going to give it a shot”. He did CPR on her for about 2 mins and brought her back, but I think she was already gone. She stayed “back” for about 10 mins, but was not herself, just limp noodle. So, I just dropped her off to get aqua mated. RIP Delta - you were a good one!

I sent my brother the pic of my white bass, and he responded with this pic. This is his pond at his house and he said he had no idea that he had fish that big. This is a 1/4 acre-ish pond…he didn’t weigh it either…

Spent all day yesterday on Guntersville. Didn’t catch squat except a wicked sunburn on my legs. Went to a local river today and caught a few white bass - this being the biggest…

I tie a palomar on everything. Lost a lure last week on flouro (I run mostly braid on everything). Don’t think my knot was the weak spot though…think it had something to do with getting tangled in another rod on my backswing prior that that cast.

As for this - I agree. However, don’t leave it tied on in your truck in the summer for days on end. It WILL swell and it WILL develop a crack and start taking in water. Then, you’ll notice one side of the bait looks fat and the other doesn’t… Or so I’ve heard…
