Yeah, I don’t see them on the 6th Sense website, and if you can the barcode in the academy app, it can’t find it. So, not a lot of info out there for them…I know they had boxes at different price points (at least 2), but again, no idea of what’s “supposed” to go in there. I know I looked at one that couldn’t have been more than maybe $30 worth of stuff, so that one was most likely pilfered…

It’s an alloy with better corrosion resistance and other stuff. The x-craftic alloy is just what Abu calls it. Would have to go back to my chemistry days to understand what was added. My working career has been in manufacturing one way or the other since the early 90s. I’ve seen many named alloys come through the system day in and day out. It’s possible that it’s the same alloy as something like T6061 or 6065, just branded x-craftic by Abu.

H2Ox squarebill. I believe they are on sale now for like $2.87. In Alabama, that puts you with about $0.22 remaining after tax. I remember back in the day, my dad would tell you that he could buy a car, go to a movie, take my mom out and come home on like a nickel. Think of the stuff you can do with an extra $3.00!!

I looked at those in academy. Each box is completely different. They weren’t taped and each one was different. One had a 6.5” draw. One was purely (almost) soft plastics. A less scrupulous person would have gone through each box and cherry picked what they wanted out of each. There is no rhyme or reason to those boxes. That said, I bought 2 😂😂

I think I’m going to go with the above reel posted and an evergreen combat stick on sale at TW for just a bit over $100. That’s $200 “extra” which may buy another Orochi XX

That particular reel is a TW exclusive. I’m not worried about being made of graphite. I wouldn’t pay full price, but may give it a shot, just because.

I’m sure others are in the same boat…got $400 to spend at TW. I always have a trap or a chatterbait tied on. Dedicated chatterbait setup. Rod, reel and line please. I’m looking at this particular reel, only because it’s a good price and some proceeds go to Heroes on the Water…anything for disabled vets is good in my book.
